  1. No worries. I'll take your word for it.
  2. That's true. I've never even seen a book in person or online that had that many NR's. Do you have any samples?
  3. I tried this with just a standard sheet of paper and it did the trick...until the rings started to appear in other places. I'm honestly not that bothered by Newton rings, and I'm kinda surprised to see people make such a big deal out of it. To each their own I guess.
  4. Just received 3 books in the mail, and couldn't be happier. Thank you so much!
  5. I agree to a point. The problem occurs when there original story is changed so much that it starts to feel like something completely different. Deviate too far, and you risk losing your audience, which is what I feel is happening to this remake. My interest has really dropped since I saw trailer 2. If you want to talk changes in comic books, it can really backfire. Look what they did to "Deadpool" in Origins.
  6. I think it mentions that kids created the cemetery, but I don't remember anything about the masks.
  7. Totally. That's where I think the book really shined. I found it fascinating that the degree of evil of the returned dead is dependant upon on the season in which they were buried. That's the kind of detail that Stephen King uses to make you really fall into his stories.
  8. Ooh, good point! Didn't even think about that. Horror movies aren't supposed to hold back, but people are so sensitive nowadays, I feel that creativity can suffer from it.
  9. I loved the original film. Strangely, I enjoyed the movie more than the book, and found it to be much scarier than it's novel counterpart. Even though I enjoyed some of the extra detail and explanation that the book had to offer, I overall thought it was just sad and depressing, rather than horrific, which is why I like the movie more.
  10. I think they shot themselves in the foot with that choice. I will say though, I actually do like the idea of the irony behind Ellie's cat being the culprit of her death. Unfortunately, that's not nearly as impactful. The original film totally nailed that crucial aspect of the story. Ugh.
  11. I completely disagree with the producer on this... The producer explained to Entertainment Weekly:
  12. Not a fan of the twist either. Why would they reverse such a pivotal part of the story? It looks like they're going for that whole "creepy ghost girl" cliche, which has been done to death...how disappointing. I'm kinda pissed, tbh. Zelda looks F'ing creepy though!
  13. That's exactly how I feel about the 2.0 I sold a few years back. Only paid 1K for it. Now they sell for 3k.
  14. Just makes me wonder how sustainable it is. I mean, aside from WW3, I really can't think of anything that would cause this "bubble" to burst, and it's incredibly difficult to tell how artificial the growth is. Disney could easily launch the X keys into values that no one has ever witnessed. In fact, I think this is just the beginning of the beginning.
