If you were hiring someone that was black and female who had no qualifications over a gay white male solely on color and gender that is discrimination. When someone less qualified is given a job over someone because of race or gender that is by definition discrimination. When a black person gets into Harvard over an asian person (still a minority) with less college entrance scores that is discrimination acting like equality for diversity sake. Should I claim that the NBA should be equal and allow me to play as a 5'8" white guy who isn't as good because it is mainly blacks in the league? No. I for one will skip the film. It's already getting rave review from critics and I'm pretty sure it's the BP effect all over. An average imo movie at best given great reviews because of it's diversity. The fact that a lot of them poo poo on all other marvel movies while propping thee two movies up says it all to me. If she is going to play the political game two can play that and I'll sit home.

If it was a movie about an Asian super hero called the Yellow Tiger that was from a fictional country that was technologically advanced and one cousin had it far worse than another and came back for revenge Hollywood wouldn't care. It's Hollywood being PC and it's so painfully obvious. It shouldn't matter what race a super hero is but it certainly does to Hollywood.

Hollywood just loves to try and show the rest of us how they are morally superior (which is a joke) so I wouldn't count BP out. That being said it's an absolute joke that this movie of all the Marvel Cinematic Movies so far is rated #1 for example on RT. It's not in my top 10 and the only marvel movie I never bought on Blu-Ray because I thought it was so average. Same story but place it in Asia or Europe and any race other than black and it goes from fresh to rotten I'd bet. Just Hollywood virtue signalling the rest of us as always when they are the scum. Dark Knight is the bar imo and BP doesn't even come close.

I liked it as it was entertaining but a few things bothered me.

Very funny movie, I really enjoyed it but not as much as the first one though which is odd because I typically like as many characters as possible.

Loved it but a few things kinda bothered me mainly Stormbringer being an axe. I think Thor is just better with a hammer but I get why they did that because of the scene with Thanos getting it in the chest. When Thor comes back to Earth I seriously got goosebumps. That was epic and my favorite scene. Interesting twist that Thanos made the Hulk into a coward. I guess he is just too strong for the fight at Wakanda but funny they put him in the trailer to throw us off charging with the rest of the heroes. Ruffalo prolly wanted more face time too. Iron man and Spidey's new armor were sick. I liked to Red Skull idea but it didn't really make sense to me as he was destroyed by the Space Gem or does that mean anyone destroyed by holding a gem is sent where the Soul Gem is? I would have expected the slave girl from GoTG to be there as well then. I hope cap gets his shield back next movie but I liked the shield that BP provided. His sister acting like Bruce Banner was dumb was a stretch though. I was curious on how they'd be able to do this with so many stars but how they split it up into really 3 different parts to the same story was really cool and bringing it all together.

Once Downey, Hemsworth and Evans hang up the boots I don't see a whole lot of blockbusters coming out once everything currently planned is done. Downey and the Avengers really is the MCU. Once he is done the best is behind us imo. I hope I'm proved wrong though. Would like for it to go on and on but I think it will just lose something once those guys are done.

Epic movie, simply epic. Hit all my expectations and more. Hard not to put this at the top of the list for me. Hope this one goes to the top in $$ for Marvel as it blows everything else away IMO.

Slavery has been so rampant for thousands of years so if you go back far enough in anyone's history they have probably had an ancestor that was a slave at some point. The thought that most every black person in America is here because someone brought a relative over from Africa though is just not true as that would mean no black people have immigrated here since the 1860s. We recently did a DNA test on my family and found we have a small percentage of North Africa and Nigerian in our family. Should I be mad because some ancestor I never knew might have been a slave?? That's ridiculous. His line was acted like he was going to be a slave which is not true. He broke the law, killed his own people (goes to show how much he cares about family I guess) and therefore would have been put in prison. Not the same thing at all. Honestly, this is the first Marvel movie I probably will not buy as I really don't have a huge desire to watch again. It was a good movie but did nothing to further the story line in anticipation for Avengers: Infinity War and I really think Marvel dropped the ball on that. There was no build up to get these new Black Panther fans excited about also seeing him in Avengers.

I think they best thing to take form the movie is you see the difference in a kid growing up with parents and one that doesn't. That is the true privilege in the world, not color no matter what drivel the media tries to spew. You can take that storyline and apply it to any kid of any color so yes, Chinese would work as well. It had nothing to do with slavery and the line from Killmonger was ridiculous because his ancestors most likely weren't slaves. Wakanda was isolated and powerful and as Klaw said no one could find El Dorado because it was in Africa, not South America. It's people were protected.

Good movie but over hyped. 97% on RT?!? come on....the audience score of 77% is about right. I'd put it above CA: FA and that is about it.

Went and saw it this weekend with my 2 nephews and niece. I liked it for what it is, a superhero punch em up movie which is what I'm looking for. I wasn't expected some oscar worthy movie but I do wish there was a little more comedy. Honestly think that DC is a at a huge disadvantage to Marvel in that area. Marvel's characters just fit the big screen better and IM really just brings it all together. Neither Batman or Superman could fill that role. Batman is too serious and Superman is too much the boy scout but they are true to the comics which is what I was expecting. The only reason WW really worked was the humor of her being out of place and so clueless on the world of man now. In JL that was gone. Solid movie, I'd say my favorite DC movie so far just because hell, it's the JL and to see them all together was really cool.

I'm looking forward to the crossover series as a lot of the shows are getting rather bad. I don't honestly mind the political agenda cause I just fast forward through all that drivel and it shaves 15 minutes off the show but yeah it sucks they keep trying to ram it down people's throats. It's easy fast forwarding on Supergirl every time Alex and wtfever her name is decide to have a moment.

It was decent but some things were odd to me. Elektra can take on all 4 but is pretty even with DD when they go at it. Luke went from indestructable to being punched and kicked around as much as he has to change outfits cause of bullet holes. Jess was just a B and annoying acting like she could care less about anything but I guess that is her character (still pretty bad). IF was a mad kid all the time which was pretty spot on from his series but I'd hoped he grow up a little. DD was cool as usual but the whole him and Elektra thing was getting old. I think all of the series are good when you think of what they are just a super hero tv series. These aren't hundreds of million dollar budget movies like Avengers, GotG etc so you kinda get what you get there.

I liked her in Broadchurch but have never seen her in anything else. I typically do not find women very funny so I don't think this will appeal to me but I'll check it out. The series has just lost it's magic that both Tennant and Smith had but they'd be a hard act to follow for anyone. I couldn't getting into the 12th doctor at all.

Went to see the movie yesterday and really enjoyed it as expected. One annoying thing was a lot of the funny parts were in the trailers. They modified them sometmes but just way too many jokes given away in the trailers imo.

The political agendas being pushed in the show have made it annoying. As others have pointed out Supergirl is way underpowered but I'm still enjoying some of the action scenes. I basically fast forward on any Alex and her gf moment as they are just annoying as hell. Also can't understand why Kara has a scar on her forehead??? Obviously the actress has it and I'm being a little bit overly critical but cover that up
