  1. For those interested there is a new forum at www.welcometoboneville.com Lots of great discussion going on over there. Steve Hamaker even posted about the watercolors in the Special Edition Box set. Turns out Jeff just drew the image of Fone Bone Reading 50 times so all of the pieces are very similar.
  2. Thanks for the info. I went ahead and asked the seller as well and he said he received 6 of them from a friend who got them many years ago from Jeff after or during a signing. A little help but not a lot so I posted the question on Jeff's Facebook page. Hope I can get some more info there.
  3. I just picked this up since it has the OA that I own. Does anyone know which edition of "Eyes of the Storm" these bookplates were inserted in?
  4. Received a couple of awesome Locke and Key Slabs along with a couple of great freebies. Thanks again for the great books, Jason.
  5. Received some well packed and quickly shipped trades. Thanks again, Jason.
  6. The deal has been consumated. I finally have a copy of 3-D Zone #16! Looks like a NM+ copy to me! Thanks Kyle! Glad you like it, Mike.
  7. Just received an email about the 100 incentive. The 100 copy incentive of this book does not include the actual book, only the incentive of an 8-1/2" x 11" hand drawn character pin-up. Glad that I ordered one since I was hoping for OA.
  8. And like I said I am interested in selling so PM sent.
  9. Dang sounds like I need to track down a pair of glasses to send with them. I take it any pair of reading glasses will do.
  10. I would be willing to part with it if we could come up with a value for it. Not having the glasses probably kills the value quite a bit. Or does it?
  11. All of this discussion of 3-D Zone 16 has my interest piqued. I purchased a copy from FlyingDonut a few years ago as NM. The book doesn't have the glasses with it so I was wondering what it is worth. I just picked the book up because I liked the cover. Here are scans of the book.
  12. Received some great books from Michael. Quickly and securely shipped. Thanks again.
  13. I was wrong the sets with the original art are already on sale right now on Boneville. Get them while you can!!!
  14. Well than, lets take a poll. Who plans on dropping a grand on this set? Unfortunately I won't be buying a set. I was just trying to put it into perspective that at $500 the art would only be costing $150 since the book set by itself is selling for $350. That would be an absolute bargain for the art compared to what it is going for. At $650 for the art in the $1000 set it is a decent price since you never see any of Jeff's art available other then convention sketches.
  15. I am sure a lot of of us would be trying to scrounge up the dough to buy multiple sets if they were only $500. I would gladly pay $150 for a watercolor piece by Jeff.
  16. Yep they made a hardcover limited to 2000 copies.
  17. I am sure they will. The OA version obviously isn't being marked for the average buyer but if everyone knew how scarce finished pieces like these are, I am sure everyone would regret not being able to get one of them. I already have a fantastic piece by Jeff but would love to get one of these as well. I know that won't happen though so I am pleased with knowing that I have the piece I do. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't all sell out at Comic-Con since it sounds like that is where they are going to be released. I at least hope that Jeff shares pictures of all 50 pieces. I'll probably get one of the $150 version to go along with the B&W hardcover I already have.
  18. The Color Bone Complete Hardcover has been announced. Looks like they are making 3 different editions of the book. One of them is going to be a very limited edition of 50 that will include a 6" x 9" watercolor by Jeff and Steve Hamaker for $1000.
  19. Finally framed the Complete Bone Adventures # 3 Cover today. This is the first piece I have framed and love how it turned out. Used Museum glass and archival mats so the piece should be good to go for a very long time.
  20. Have to agree but I was wondering if it was actually done by Jeff. Found some artwork from the cards series that is airbrushed on Photostats. So I was thinking that piece might have been done the same way. Regardless of how it was done it is still an awesome piece.
  21. So where's my piece I'm waiting on? Take all the time you need, Matt. Some great pieces being posted.
  22. This Jeff Smith cover arrived today. Have to say that this piece was the perfect end to the year. Still can't believe I own a Jeff Smith published piece. Cover Art to Complete Bone Adventures Volume 3.
  23. The piece arrived sooner then I thought it would. It is fantastic in hand. I still can't believe I own it. Cover Art to Complete Bone Adventures Volume 3.
  24. Noticed this piece while I was looking for info on previous sale prices of Jeff Smith art. I don't think this piece was mentioned in the thread so thought it was worth posting. Bone Art sold for $3,452.18.
  25. Have to come out with it now that it has been brought up. I was able to snag it and have been on ever since. Can't wait to have it in hand. Congrats on the purchase.... are you an art collector, Bone fan, or both? Thanks. I would have to say that I am both. I really loved the story when I read it and immediately began looking for a piece of art. I then found out that Jeff never sells his art but I didn't give up the search. I just had to have a piece and I didn't really want one of his con sketches. Never thought I would own a finished piece. This piece was exactly what I had hoped for. I wanted a piece with Fone Bone and Thorn so am thrilled to get this piece. I still can't believe I actually won the auction. Was expecting it to go for much more then it did since it is a published piece.
