  1. Bolland mentioned in his book how bored he was drawing this, he was offered a lot of money to draw another but passed. I really like the arm on the guitar and the jacket. Alan Moore dislikes TKJ. What do these guys know anyway? This cover is boss. Everything about it is explosive (no pun intended) I mustve sold over 10 copies in previous months at over 50 a pop and mostly to chicks. To date, this is the only comic that I had orders for in advance. If I were to guess, I would say it was the cover .. Even if BB disagrees
  2. This book was always a winner for me. Bought many many copies on the cheap since it was always under the radar. Sold them all except for one and theres nothing in the world that can make me sell it now
  3. I sold a copy once to Denys Cowan. I was packaging it and then I was looking at the address going... That cant be right... Is it?
  4. Bolland MADE this comic Cowans's interior is priceless #dearlybeloved
  5. Well it looks like it closed at less than a 10th of the original asking price. And im willing to bet that the offer he declined was higher than the auctioned price.
  6. GO GO GO Seller told me he has 100 (!) copies (listing only shows 15) all warehouse find. 1.99 each (ask him for combined shipping) cheap
  7. Thats like the Gobbledygook of Tank Girl!!
  8. Your 10th - is that it? I was afraid you will show up over here and bash me over this
  9. Tank Girl still has a hardcore following. Its latest Kickstarter successfully raised £174,130 (thats over a quarter mil in USD). Ive been searching for a HG Deadline #1 for the longest. This is the only one I saw on the bay (or amazon for that matter) in months
  10. I honestly never heard of it. btw How was the comic book series? How was the movie? Is it something you recommend? the tank girl movie came out with a lot of hooplah. lori petty was a rising star (if not an actual star) .up until about then. it was naomi watts u.s. movie debut it had ice-T and malcolm mcdowell it was a huge bust with a $6 million box office on a $25 million budget http://www.ebay.com/itm/Time-Out-1288-Feat-Tank-Girl-Very-Good-Fine-5-0-Condition-/371604902804?hash=item568560d394:g:-NoAAOSwyB9XDVRx
  11. Good pickups. That Dark Knight seems a steal, I hope it is as promised when received! As expected... MINT!
  12. Hey Kurtis, big fan of RQ here. As many here are (this threads length is testament to that) I dont think anyone "BLAMES" you for anything. We may have concerns about the series based on things that happened to a book that we all love. Its natural, and if we hadnt expressed concern, it wouldnt show that we care. I hope things pick up for you, but none of this is our business. Its your personal life man. All we're asking is to see the characters and stories that we came to love continue to flourish AND FOR YOU TO SUCCEED IN YOUR ENDEAVORS. Our money is on Rat Queens. If Image doesnt want to support it, take it to Kickstarter. We'll be there
  13. Im friends w him on fb. Hes working hes on commissions and X-Men sketches like you wouldnt believe. The guys talented. You cant take that away from him
  14. Sounds like hes struggling with it more than it has to do with sales. That explains why he wants to put it on hold. Just not too sure how the fans will see it. I wonder if it makes sense for him to get a co-writer at this point
  15. Firstly, sorry to hear about this. I just simply cant understand what makes a title go out of business when it has a good foundation and an average+ sales rank. (didnt the 3rd TPB just came out this month) I see how Image may decide to drop it if it performs below their expectations, but with Twitter, FB, blogs (heck even our little rinky dink operation here) and good old word of mouth, theres simply no way you can tell me fans CANNOT support a title they love. Thats why theres Kickstarter. Simply put; Quality+networking=success maybe its something Mr Weibe needs to look into? Regardless, Im still a fan and I know many here are as well. Hope this is not the end
  16. They were at ECCC with a stack of every cover. I don't see this lasting long. There were only 100 of the pants down variant.. It looks very similar to the Trix variant except for... Well except for a minor detail
