Where?!? He bought it on Ebay. 4.99 + 4.00 shipping. Had it on my watch list, but forgot to bid, other wise I would have made him pay at least $15 for it, or owned it myself. Summertime is great for deals, people got stuff going on! The real question you need to ask, is which venue he is going to resell it at. i certinaly wont sell it for THIS MUCH I actually owned a copy which i bought when it came out, but I have no idea where it is anymore, so this is a keeper thank you

Does anyone know whats the deal with JLA#1 (1st print) combo packs? Was there a "retailer edition" as well as a regular one??? Gives me the impression of a fast talking used car salesman whereby your Spidey sense would be tingling like mad every time he opens his mouth. Sometimes, too much passion sends the wrong message. That's my impression too. Passionate? Sure. Used car salesman about to screw you in any possible deal? Absolutely. I wouldn't trust a word out of his mouth if there was any even discussion of a deal. I've done many a deal with Mikey Carbo and never had an issue or a regret. Have you ever done one? Nope. As I said, it's an impression. I've talked to him & been around him when he's done other deals with other sellers/buyers. But I haven't done business with him. It's just an impression for me. He just sets off alarm bells in my head when I hear him wheeling & dealing. And I trust my gut when it comes to who I want to do business with. Even if it means I miss out on something. Not saying it's right or even saying anything about his character. He's got a lot of charm. He's also a salesman thru & thru and I don't like being "sold" anything. So maybe that's where the alarm bells are from. I prefer to be left alone to find what I want & decide without someone trying to sell me something. Carbo is a reality show done right. Period. I would pay to see the guy wheelin and dealin better than any other man/woman in the biz.. Just because of his character. The guys a living breathing walking cartoon for heaven's sakes

Both of these auctions are mine. The one that went for $124 was a bidding war, I just got kinda lucky that day, a week later I listed the 2nd copy I had. I just relisted the same auction, and hit a bad day, it should have done better. Just glad I didn't list my 9.8 did u make a second chance offer after the first sale? +1,000 (see what I did there?)

Nothing major here, but Destroyer Duck #1 9.8 just ended at 89.88.. Its worth mentioning that there were 8 watchers and 3 snipers on it... Btw seller listed it last week for 69.99 and no bites

Any luck selling any other issues besides #1? Haven't tried, but I'm always buying HG copies. I don't think I've ever sold a copy of the Tick, but a board member sold me an 8.5 #1 recently and then yesterday while looking for something else I found a stack of issues I'd put away. Also have a new 50 long box A-Z indie collection that has some Ticks. So I can see that I may actually sell a Tick or ten Ticks this year. Hey Jimmers--good point on MTU 103. I've been selling those for around $8 I think. I should be mentioning the 2nd Taskmaster connection to people who come visit the warehouse. Just sell the whole lot and dont tell the buyer about them
