  1. She's going to be in the Deadpool movie - Gina Carano I'm more amazed that Marvel named a character after a drug I prefer to think they named her after a Faith No More album. Good call - love that album! So underrated. I guess it's a bit of a Midlife Crisis for those of us that know that album. I see what you did there Excellent! (thumbs u Their rendition of Midnight Cowboy from Angeldust is the reason why I got at least 2 speeding tickets while driving back from work at sundown

  3. if previews is your game (yup, I said the P word) I is For Image January 2014 (white label I) precedes Both WD127 & Outcast #1 by a 4-5 months.
  4. Wow! Was the wall book graded? A raw EoSV2 just went on Ebay for $56ish. $56 is a steal for this book nowadays.. Lookit - a straight flush EOSV 1-5 with #2 being a 4th print for 60.00
  5. A print run is not relevant on ebay.. Its about how many listings are on it.. Soooo You can be the only one with an X-Men #1 1991 out of 6,000,000 that were printed and just name your price
  6. There will be at least a few thousand young comic readers today that will read this comic cover to cover and destroy the book from access wear.. .. And I will be waiting for them some 40-50 years from now with a fresh copy to cherish those memories...
  7. Probably because of what Figment did. I agree, but I wouldnt phrase it like you.. Figment is exactly what I thought of when I heard about Frozen.. (hey they both start with an F, right?) But I also think that, just like Figment, once everyone is gonna be done selling the copies they bought to flip, the demand will still be there.. I had 5 sets of Figment and hated it.. I sold 3 of them for 35.00 just to dump em, but now they are back to selling for 50/+ and I dont think that with the exception of a fluke here and there, they will be back to 35 again.. The same thing we are experiencing with BH6.. The book plummeted in value and is less desirable by collectors now, but it will always be a sought after book by the hundreds of thousands if not millions of fans.. Just my opinion.. hey its friday Im entitled
  8. ...not yet. I'm thinking this isn't a title that most comic shops would order so hopefully they'll start heating up. Anyone know the print run? It retells the whole movie so I'm sure a lot of people will want it. This is definitely not a "heating up" book.. Even when there were only a few listings yesterday at 15-20.00 no one bought them.. No one wants to invest in this because its a different market. And who's Joe Books anyway??? This kinda reminds me of the first time that I heard about Valiant back in the 90s It all started with Nintendo, before you know it Valiant had 50 titles all over the market Oh shoot! Thank you for reminding me of who Joe Books is. So the Darkwing Duck book, they took the original books published by Boom and had the ORIGINAL creator (who hasn't worked in comics for 20 years?) REWRITE / DRAW three or four issues so it keeps getting pulled back and now all the original creators of the book don't want anything to do with the book. I think that the only time I enjoy hearing the words pulled back are in the comic biz
  9. The slippers are strong with this one. Parel (wolverines #3 variant artist) comixposure variant for #2
  10. Keep your eyes on that amazing spider man #14 Phil Noto variant.. Theyre selling like crazy for 5-10 currently, but they are slowly dwindling, yesterday there were 50+ BINs today only 12.. My LCSs had them for cover yesterday.. No Mas today.. My prediction is that this will be a 20-30 book by next month.. could be wrong, but a good cover lasts a long time

  12. Sellers keep them in bags so they can type on their listings: NEVER OPENED!!!!! NEVER OPENED GEM MINT to be exact. I have a few bagged Spider Man #1 which Mcfarlane signed ON THE BAG back in the day.. Its cool cause if one day these will be worth any money I can always unbag them.. Sell the bag and slab the book I kid
  13. ABSOLUTELY. This character is at a point that, unless there's some legal dispute somewhere or something as big along those line, she will only rise higher. This is not about investing or flipping anymore, this is about an (gulp) epidemic in the market. We've seen popular female characters gain massive popularity in the past 2 years like never before. We all noticed it w Harley of course, and were very dismissive of BA12 when it first broke all kinds of records, but then we've noticed it with other newer titles. Im still a believer in Rat Queens. I think that's gonna be the next big thing after Harley & Gwen, but this is the Gwen thread so Im gonna wear my 4 am slippers and pay my respect to her, Jason & Robbi.. They probably deserve all the respect in the world from Gwen's fans right about now. Onwards and upwards

  15. CGC 9.8's are going for around $150. Let's test this theory . . . GLWTS You should use the images of the proof provided herein
  16. You know what would happen if Drake played Miles in that movie for even 2 seconds? Just a tweet from him about this role will spike UF#4 through the roof
  17. not too sure if thats good or bad.. Def take it out of the bag before subbing to inspect.. Newsstand copies usually take more of a beating in general, and on this book more so in particular
  18. You uber-newbs need to take a course in quote nests. What a mess. imitation is a form of flattery
  19. BTW in my opinion, that Omegamen #3 is still considered cheap compared to what it sold in the 90s.. Lobo was DCs new messiah back then, and Bisley was a god. I am still a fan and hoard on as many Omegaman #3 under 10$ anywhere I can find them (theyre out there)
  20. I am a married man! I should probably be out there trying to find a guy for her. She is very nice, very smart (various ivy league degrees) and makes a good living, but I hear from mutual friend/co-workers she just has a tough time in the dating world. She's not unattractive, but probably not attractive enough to get a lot of solicitations from guys she has any interest in, probably just random losers on the street or subway. I should probably just mind my own business and not be such a yenta. Anyway, this was a healthy return on Omega Men 3. Don't think I remember a raw going this high: http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Omega-Men-3-1st-appearance-of-Lobo-Extremely-High-Grade-issue-9-6-/351305066215?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51cb69e6e7 Well, if she has copper-colored hair and she's looking to get some, then it's appropriate, I suppose. You know, my post did contain an ebay sale of note on a CA book. that's the highest i can remember a raw copy going for. as for the other stuff...well, maybe if Bishop is played by a hot enough guy in the movie there will be millions of african american comic nerdettes like my friend coming out of the woodwork and buying his first app? not likely though if comic dork co-workers like myself just give them a spare copy, however..
