Im definitely not in favor of variants. But I do adapt to change rather quickly. If this is one example of it than im all for it. FOR THE RECORD. I haven't bought one copy of the Phantom variant. Im just not too sure what to make of it yet, but I truly hope that this will work out and progresses to a new business model for publishers artists and vendors.. If the reader/collector wins - so do they!

Thats actually ALOT of transactions for an UNKNOWN book.. Even some listing of that book selling from Australia.. The fact that all these transactions took place in previous months, and that first 2-3 sales didnt disclose the name of the book, but rather just went with the 1st Spawn initiative makes me believe that this was very carefully planned.. Too bad it didnt take

Yes, Superman #75. Here's my thought on this.. We all know Supes 75 was a hoax.. Therefore the craze for that book was unjustified.. But theres absolutely nothing wrong with having a book sell as fast as spidergwen phantom based on its cool cover. The only thing I can think of that could go wrong with this is overprint without acknowledgment. But if this variant will cap at 3,000 as promised. This will be a very treasured variant

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that "not going down anytime soon" and "good investment" may not be the same thing. I'm glad I have copies, but I'm a seller at $70, not a buyer looking for a return. This time will be different. -J. Sarcasm aside.. Im gonna go out on a limb here and say that at $70 per copy this is STILL a good investment. If you wanna invest in anything thats not going down anytime soon - this is your big winner here. A character with ZERO movie/TV hype and nothing but a true fanbase and incredible potential.. Go ahead laugh all you want.. But this IS Marvel's answer to Harley.. And it didnt take her 20 years to blow up
