Happy for ya as well mate, but honestly graded 9.6 of this copy are selling for more than 3 times the amount, and whos to say it wouldt fetch a 9.8? Just my opinion

Quadrant was one of those "you'll have to pay through the nose, kid!" books when I first started collecting (like the Omega Premiere, and the Faust Premiere), and it was a tough book to find. IF you found a copy, it was $100-125...in 1990 dollars. IF you could find one. The fact that it's a magazine made it that much tougher. Flash forward about 20 years, and I find a copy in the magazine box of my LCS....$3, minus 25% discount. It's about a VF, but....it was $2.45 in 2010 dollars. Happy...happy...happy day. I giggled with joy that moment. Oh, sure, it's not worth what it was...but who cares? I got it for $2.45! That's cheaper than anything on eBay, and...I found it in the wild! Now, all I need is #2, and my set's complete. Aint that the truth, I remember saving my shekels just to get Vortex #1, I could only wish I'd get Quadrant #1. Most comic shops didnt even have anything before #4 let alone the high price. Imagine what would happen if the grading system was implemented back then and you had that 9.8???

I'm not sure, but Juggy is a boss. I bought his undercopy Hellrazor HC, and he snaked me out of the finest set of M-I-B raw books I have ever seen. He has been my daddy ever since. mess, I need friends like him!

I think people always love the artist that was on the title first, but IMO Kent was as good of better. All those Hsu/Burles covers on the series are 90% Burles. Anyways, that's why they make chocolate and vanilla Absolutely. I love Kents work as well! Those scans are amazing!

To both of you I say: I love the Kent Burles art as well, awesome, although Im not gonna lie, at the time when I collected Adventurers I always hoped to get Hsu back on the series I guess once you have Hsu, anything else looks bad. I think Im gonna start collecting Adventurers variants again!

Back in the day.. Around the B&W indie era, Hsu was a big name. Well sorta kinda. He did the first Adventurers & Elf Warrior for Aircel and Quadrant/The Gauntlet. I was a fan back then and even met him at SDCC 1991 so... anyone has any rare books/OA by Hsu to show? Is he still putting stuff out?

The last two dealers who bought stuff from me asked about MK 55 in particular. What's driving the interest? No idea, but it's in demand. Absolutely true. And as far as the comparison to TMNT goes, earlier TMNT books are going as low as 4-5 bucks.. Look at TMNT #8, you can find it in dollar bins for heavens sakes

Just my opinion. Season 5 was waaaay better than the previous two. Just saw the last episode last night. Amazing. Not to suggest that it's not possible, but Its more difficult for me to envision this mass WD hysteria gone tomorrow than not.
