NM98 was a 6-8$ book into its first few years mainly because of Domino speculation That died quickly. The book then settled into being part of the run, but was tougher to find than the surrounding issues, as many collectors snapped it up if they saw it in the bins. I used to find them for $3-$5 regularly in the 90s, but many were the times it was issues 96,97,99,100 in the bin. THIS. No one really cared for it until the Deadpool hype begun much much later.. But those who wanted copies couldnt find them easily. I actually remember getting stiffed by Chuck on a couple of copies I ordered. I didnt make much of it and just carried on

wonder if that will spread to Powegirl? Power girl just got a reboot which I suspect will do very well with current market trends. I'd say hold on to your All Star Comics #58 for just a little longer

I doubt this has anything to do with movie/tv speculation.. I'd attribute it to the "All things female" speculation of late

I have been picking up copies when I can too, but in reflection i dont think we will ever see Angela in a movie. Her heritage is too embroiled in controversy with the legal action between Todd McFarlane and Neil Gaimen, and now they both share creator credit for her. It may be too much of a headache in terms of royalties and permissions. See, I always thought that Gaimen took her to Marvel so he can explore the big screen possibilities, and the fact that shes involved in not one but 2 upcoming movie series makes me think that thats how its gonna go.

I think Angela has tremendous potential in skyrocketing. What with all the latest over-popularization of female characters, Im picking every early Angela appearance I can get, not just Spawn #9.. the limited series, the Special and the 1st Marvel appearances are dirt cheap.. If Angela gets featured in a GOTG or Age Of Ultron movie this character will most likely join the ranks of Harley, Spider-Gwen and others..

I remember when these fetched $30-50 in the 80s and were plastered all over OSPG and Mile High's catalogs. This book was beyond huge. Surely there are MANY fans that still care for it and the for the art.. Keep on listing them on the bay and sooner or later someone will come for them. Maybe it will be me hehe
