That book always brought in good coin, Id say the 1 or 2 9.8 that sold for less than 150 were more of a shock than the ones you listed.. There was an auction that closed at $60 for a raw copy which I posted here a while back

Not really, Im just a fan and have all his copper books, that's the only one Im missing. Yes, Art took forever on books, but for art's sake (no pun intended) it was well worth it and always well received. You can clearly see a difference in his art from his really early books (Xmen annual 9,10 lets say to X men annual 14). Each panel used to be packed with details and amazing texture renderings. It got a little sloppier with late copper - modern issues, but that's probably because he couldnt meet his deadlines. Theres nothing wrong with taking your time in perfecting your work, if the results are well worth it.

There's only one artist that influenced me in the 80s and made me get into drawing at the time and it was the legendary Arthur Adams! Here's what I dont understand.. Roc's bond was 750, which makes me think that this is the first time hes been arrested. His wife clearly made a mistake by posting her thoughts on this on a blog, then took it down. This seems to me like a terrible incident, NOT domestic abuse. There was a fight. Sadly, these things happen but they are not always domestic abuse. None of the reports suggest that Roc has a long history of domestic abuse. Again, I dont know what happened, but something tells me this is blown out of proportion, if there's anyone to blame here its the media.

Ever shipped a comic to a celebrity? or anyone else that sticks out of the norm? I had a Killing Joke comic shipped to a corrections center in florida once which got mailed back to me.. Then I contacted the buyer, who turned out to be the kid's mother who bought it for him. I ended up shipping it to her instead..
