  1. Seeing Neil sit all alone at the conventions nowadays with his $50-75 per signature sign is as sad as seeing those ridiculously high BINS for Continuity Comics signed by him sitting all alone on eBay
  2. Yup that's what this thread is pretty much about
  3. Thats a sigh of relief. After he did Bane, I didnt know what to expect vocally
  4. The Mattena variant is some sort of a rogues gallery cover. Those tend to do well long term (ie Tec 566, flash 155 etc) but just not my cup of tea
  5. Tom Hardy and Venom is failure proof. Even if the movie just shows him sitting on a chair eating popcorn for 2 hours people will still come out in droves to see the movie. I know I will. This doesn't need to be a good movie to succeed
  6. I got about 20-30 of them from an ebayer some 3 years ago for 5$ each. 4 came back 9.8.. I wanted to save them for some sort of a movie announcement but at 175 a pop they kept disapearing. Down to the last one which I'm holding on to dear life
  7. I always found it interesting that in the back cover of Spawn #1 there was an ETM catalog ad which enlisted Spawn #1 as a 2nd print (alongside #2 & 3)
  8. Wonder if this was ever mentioned post the movie hype
  9. Wonder why NHS38 was trending as her 1st appearance all these years Either way Im happy that NHS is getting some love. Those mid-late issues had minuscule print runs as well
  10. Correct. With the exception that clearly it wasn't a cameo. The first appearance should be 266. But the first published appearance was annual 14
  11. Here are the supporting images for this thread again, from Marvels original solicitation:
  12. Welcome to the boards Uriah (as in "July Morning" Uriah?) Your bagged x-force with cards are the 1st prints id hate to say but unless they grade 9.8 than the market for them is pretty bad best way to sell is on eBay/amazon but don't expect to get much best a&l
  13. "Dude... wtf???" I think that should be the title of a silver age reprint series
  14. I actually find it interesting that a lot of today's covers are painted (even though most are digitally enhanced) and marketed to a more adult crowd. Kinda like how pulps were in the 30s before they morphed into comics and shifted in demographics
