  1. I guess I have to disassociate myself with you because sdsdsd said that you have a tendency to "yell shill shill shill" at any book that you dont like. Amazing. Then he goes on preaching to me that I shouldnt say any things about other boardies EVEN THOUGH I NEVER DID
  2. Please do us all a favor and read our exchange before jumping the gun on people's analytical assumptions.
  3. He is a dealer - by his own admission He is a big fan - by his own admission Of course none of this has ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS debate It has EVERYTHING TO DO with him being biased. Especially when NO ONE IS EVEN ASKING HIM for this info Yes I have, read on from here please:
  4. This is the first time that anyone here actually noticed that this book/property is heating up. (03/11/2017) Almost 2 years after its published release (!) Just as BishopT's fascination with this "pretty crazy sudden price jump" on something that "was a dime a dozen around here a year or two ago" That is EXACTLY what I am talking about. Add the astronomically high price shill'd auctions to this ALL ACROSS THE BOARD, and you can see why anyone with even the slightest grasp of market behavior would question this property's credibility
  5. Im not telling you anything, youre involuntarily sharing this info with us im just quoting you on
  6. My reference to the word "product" when comparing to Coke was R&M, not the sauce, is what I meant The quotation requesting you for statistics was a "cheap shot" Luckily for me you love me and wont get bent out of shape for flirting with ya in public
  7. I dont have to. You did Youre not a BIG fan of the show, just a big fan of money, if you say this: I dont have to. I can just quote you in order to accomplish that
  8. Product= R&M ≠ sauce "Can you share the results of this survey you obviously conducted "
  9. You asking us to make sense out of "the evolution" of R&M's popularity is probably more difficult to us than you grasping the fact of how blatant you come across here to others as a dealer whos sole interest in engaging in this conversation is to protect your investment
  10. This is kinda like you asking Coca Cola "but why do u need a $4m ad on the super bowl when u have people buying your product already?" u have to realize that NO product is sought after by the masses without having perceived higher value while there's no harm in advertising your product legally, there is great harm in hacking your product to the top charts illegally that's all these shills are - hacked ads
  11. You dont see how COUNTLESS & CONTINUED high end shills exclusively associated with this property will create a perceived higher value for this property as a whole?
  12. If you seriously believe someone spent $1700 on a R&M poster & sauce I got a bridge to sell you http://www.ebay.com/itm/RICK-AND-MORTY-Authentic-McDonalds-Szechuan-Sauce-Packet-1-Limited-Poster-/182805217947?hash=item2a900a429b:g:odUAAOSwddhZ08nJ
  13. There are more shills of this property than digital animation cells in a single episode
  14. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rick-and-Morty-McDonalds-Szechuan-Sauce-Bottle-Pelican-case-over-1-2-full-/182711728318?hash=item2a8a77b8be:g:EywAAOSw~xFZjJO- Yup, shilled as well This entire R&M market is fake
  15. You just did it again "capitalist" You just chose to pretend that the countless points of scam and shills brought to you here are nonexistent Thanks for clarifying my point
  16. Rick and Morty had a cult following before the book first came out and it didnt sell out at stores like many books with far less less popularity. The book sat at the shelves for many months, almost a year till it started to gain real value. I pointed out many sold listings with accurate figures that book had in 2015 all the way to 2016 where the book was selling at an average of $5-10. I havent studied the shills as Jaydog did, but I will give him credit for exposing the 1:50 shill fiasco, I was not aware of it. Its not far fetched to think that the shills helped the book reach Walking Dead status in sales, given that in just a few short month it has outperformed any modern title in the secondary market in volume and figures This has been discussed throughly by us just last week, until @IntoAnother brought up the subject of shilling again. Clearly, people here are concerned that theres market manipulation with this property. Clearly this SHOULD affect ANYBODY that cares about our hobby Those who chose to treat this scam as a money making stock have openly expressed their views in this topic and I therefore chose to ignore them in this dialog.
  17. Hope someone from here got them In other news... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Justice-League-America-69-Comic-Book-Doomsday-RARE-4th-Printing-MINT-Low-Print-/122731455789?hash=item1c935d652d:g:IoEAAOSwTRBZzte5
  18. Some books just carry sensitive topics that are offending to others and throuought the years we saw time and time again the publishers change and adapt to the census. Today it's politically correctness. Yesterday it was SOTI Sometimes it's just a book that came out at the wrong time with the wrong content. Like Adventures of superman 596 that came out the day after 9/11 and was speculated by DC it would offend many that it was pulled off the shelves. Imagine if this book came out the day of the Las Vegas shooting?
  19. R&M comics are artificially inflated. I've included many examples that show how these were practically worthless the first year they came out. There are those who disagree. This is my opinion and others who are blinded by the shilling have accepted these books as rare valuable. At this point it's pointless to debate this here. I'd suggest creating a thread to point out the shilling so others who are as curious as I was could be directed to it easily.
