  1. AMF 2/7 is a fav of mine too... its the last AMF that would feature the pre-Timely Funnies Inc. line up of Everett, Burgos and Gustavson in the same book. I don't have any shots of the "C-20 Mystery" handy, but its a brilliant Everett story.

Another great copy!! Let's see what else you can pull out of the vault!

as i said earlier, it was seeing a color picture of this cover in an OPG in 1976 (or 1977) that first sparked my interest in centaurs.

  2. i absolutely agree with all you guys.

which is why i'm going to kick it up a notch (in cover art, and condition - neither of which is easy to do)!

Well, I don't think you "kicked it up a notch." No, I think you kicked it out of the stadium!

let's see if i can kick it out of the city limits with the next one...

  3. I second the nomination of Bunky's AMF 2/2 and Circumstances AMF 2/5 as the "comic of the year" so far!!!! (worship)

    It's a tie.... (shrug)

They will take some topping wont they? Maybe we'll just need to have a run off between them in December!

it's an honor. let's do it!

  4. but, in my personal opinion, all american 16 easily bests pep 22 and action 7 (and probably tec 31) regarding overall superhero key issue coolness factor.

dollar value aside of course. archie can be as hot as he wants, and money trends change over time, but AA 16 will always be a top 7 or 8 killer book to this old time collector :)

  5. hey everyone. i've been posting over in the centaur thread and i noticed this pulp thread. i'm not actually a pulp collector, but i have recently started trying to put together a run of all the weird tales with conan stories. i'll post pictures of the ones i already have, and any new ones as i pick them up.
