Hey there my prestigious friends at CGC. Captain Courageous was a mainstay at ACE Periodicals back in the Great Golden Age of comics and lets face it his costume was nothing short of amazing. Can we get a 1st app of Captain Courageous notation on BANNER COMICS #3. It has been labeled as such in the OSPG for many Mooney's (see what I did there Jim Mooney being the artist Thanks so much as always!! Gino

It’s very supple thankfully!! There are splits at the top and bottom but neither go past the staples the are attached tightly throughout the book

I will definitely be double posting this one!! This book which is the Harvey Kurtzman File copy was graded back in Feb of 2003 so almost 20 years ago and I gotta say it presents very well for a 1.8. The old holder has a bit of scuffing especially over the “4” and the label on top is peeling off so i’m trying to decide whether to simply reholder or just crack and resub altogether. I wouldn’t mind leafing through it though and taking some interior pics so i’m leaning towards crack and resub at some point after i’ve had some fun with it. Did I mention only 7 on the census 🤟😎

Since we are seeing some DCs I won’t mind tossing in this little gem I received in the mail yesterday!! Psyched to add this to the pile goes well with the 7 imo which i have had for many years.

Man the rarity and the awesome factor are off the charts with this one!! A few small things that set this cover off aside from the main images is that one this is a Moon cover!! Check out the window behind Captain Flag!! I love how they are in a Log Cabin and the fireplace is lighting up the bottom of the stone. Gives you those nighttime in the woods vibes and The little shadows are amazing. Also the eyes of the Black Hand are super menacing. Absolute stunner to add to the collection!!

Not sure where you scored this but you are one lucky gent to track it down as it is a literal ghost in the market!!! Presents wonderfully might I add!! This is a mic drop book as the kids say hehe!!
