  1. I had the pleasure of interacting with and purchasing from Howard Greber in his last couple weeks. I knew nothing of Underground comics at the time but I was drawn towards the books he posted. I claimed quite a few of them including high grade Air Pirates #1 and his original owner copy of Mr Natural 2. All of them were at great prices and he brought the prices down further as a package deal. I inquired if there were any UG books featuring cats. His response was to give me free of charge all of the Fat Freddys cat books. This was the most generous and thoughtful thing anyone in the comics world has ever done for me. I would never sell any of the books I bought from him especially the fat freddys cat books. I even haver them listed in my notes as "Greber copies".
  2. I purchased and installed Vuescan. I think its far superior to the HP software. Thanks so much for your help. The willingness and desire to share information is one of the things I like best about these boards and the people on them.
  3. My #2 is the highest graded yet I have never read the book. As my primary goal in collecting is to have the ultimate reading library it doesn't really make sense. It was a gift so I will just have to look for a reader.
  4. The Hp solution software that came with my HP. 8300 won’t load anymore. Thus I can’t scan. Does anyone have a fix for this? I tried uninstalling the software then reinstalled it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. I want to finally complete my high grade CGC Freak Brothers set. I have been looking for the last 2 books I need for years.
  6. I haven't been collecting very long. I wasn't into comics as a child. The first book I ever purchased was Amazing Spider-man #700 from Lee's Comics.
  7. I am kind of surprised that a book like this was distributed and sold. I have some other books with issues similar to this but nothing this bad. Does anyone have a similar example or more info? If anything its yet another reason why Underground books are so cool.
  8. Sweet deal. I really like these covers. I am not very familiar with variant covers so it’s great to see what’s out there.
  9. Same here. Tried a couple different numbers.
  10. First prints of #13 are tough to find in high grade.
