  1. Hawkman 4 CGC 9.4 & 8.5 Hello. I've recently upgraded, so I am looking to sell my undercopies of this spectacular key issue. You could even say it's...Magical. Payment by Paypal. Items are shipped from Canada, shipping will be $20 for each book. If you buy both, I'll throw in free shipping. Woo. No unsavoury characters. I'm willing to ship outside of Canada and the USA, however you'll need to pay the (Probably very expensive) price for a fully tracked, insured, signature option. NO HTIW EHT WOHS
  2. A Correction on this, the Soft Opening is actually end of March.
  3. We continued with our mission to move the most books in the room, and succeeded. Moreover, as an experiment we left all the good books at home and only brought low end books. Cheap sets, and trash books made up the bulk of our 2 tables. And sales soared well beyond the last show, which in itself was a new record for us at the time. many other dealers complained about slow sales. When their books are priced multiple times above the Current eBay sales, I wonder what part of the code they have trouble cracking.
  4. Put stickers on the good books or people will think your booth is baby town frolics. $1 books can be bulked in labelled boxes.
  5. Finally finished going through the new copper collection. Greggy already calling first dibs
  6. Since you're saying Postal Code instead of Zipcode, does that mean you're Canadian? If so, send me a PM. I might be able to help you out.
  7. I wonder if they will get a table at the show, and start a rivalry with Aaron
  8. The cover stock has some kind of a coating on it, and the wrinkles are in the coating. Yeah, it sucks. I want to peel it off like it's a protective sheet but I don't think that's how it works. I don't have my comics available, but is the same coating used on the "standard" variant cover? I'm not 100% sure, but I don't remember seeing the same issues with the standard portrait orientation one. I've had mutliples of both, and only remember this issue occurring with the incentive one.
  9. Really enjoyed it. Was hoping Swamp thing would get more screen time, though.
  10. The cover stock has some kind of a coating on it, and the wrinkles are in the coating.
  11. That was another terrific episode. Season 2 is very strong so far.
  12. I think the 90% is just on toys and statues at the moment.
  13. Have noticed a lot of people trying to exit this club, as of late.
  14. I'm purchasing a mint Bronze/Copper OO Collection this weekend, where pretty much everything is NM or better. Naturally I will strip it for parts, and a lot of it will end up in the $1 bin because I have a legacy to maintain. Glad Aardvark has enjoyed diving in the RX bins, trolling through my leftovers.
  15. The cover to Harley Quinn #3 is superb, and should be enough. People went nuts on Swamp Thing #50, calling it the first appearance of the Justice League Dark, despite it involving characters who were not in the team when it officially started, the name never being used, and nobody agreeing to be a team. They just came together to fix the one problem out of cosmic necessity.
  16. Maybe Thane will have a roll in this upcoming "Thanos kills the marvel universe again" storyline I saw something about.
  17. And if for some reason some of you vancouver collectors aren't familiar with the place... 2418 Main Street (just North of Broadway), Vancouver, BC, V5T 3E2 Phone: 604.454.5099 Hours: Monday 11-5, Tuesday 11-6, Wednesday-Saturday 11-7, Sunday and Holidays 12-6.
  18. Today is the saddest day in Vancouver Comic History. Aaron has announced he is closing RX Comics. Which is just slightly better than when David Bowie died. It's a tragedy of incalculable measure. It's no secret RX has been my store of choice in the city, and not just because of its convenient location. Aaron was cool. He kept it *spoon* 100. He refused to be anything other than a pure comic book store, and didn't pollute his shelves with Yugi-oh cards or sports stuff. If you wanted some weird hardcore French pornographic graphic novel that was only distributed in the Palace of Versailles gift shop, this was the guy you asked about it. If you were short on cash and wanted to offer to stick your *spoon* in to a rotating fan blade in exchange for the newest Issue of Batman, he was the only guy that would entertain that offer. RX comics always had this element of Danger to it, like all the old Vancouver greats. You risked getting mugged by the junkies on Main. You risked being trapped like a Chilean miner under falling long boxes. They played grunge and metal music to scare away the hipsters and the posers eating poached eggs and Paisley next door. RX comics was basically the Pantera concert of comic stores. Anyway, starting on Saturday Jan.7 they are beginning their going out of business sale. Here are the details straight from their FB page. CLOSING OUT SALE!!! EVERYTHING MUST GO!!! Starting tomorrow, January 7th, EVERYTHING in the store will be 50% OFF!!! This includes all the comics on the new rack as well as all Books, Action Figures, etc... Help us lighten our load and get some great deals while you're at it. (excludes subscription boxes, or anything set aside prior to the start of the sale)
