  1. rational thought and comic book fans (from the word fanatic) rarely go together
  2. finally bit the bullet and picked up a ps5 (pre owned $400) signed up for ps plus since paying $70 for a game seems out of my budget been playing world war z aftermath - but a few other games i've downloaded are the miles morales and horizon west
  3. you probably laugh at when it rains at birthday parties
  4. for every ebay story there is always another side of the story that people never talk about when they create these threads as an example I had someone ask if would except price X for a book, I said yes and reduced the price of the book they said they were going to look at other books to see if i would combine, i said sure go ahead a couple days later i ask if they still want the book that i lowered the price of so they could purchase ($15 to $10 by the way) and they said they still wanted the book but could not purchase until 11/1. they then asked me to raise the price back up which i did not the book sold on 10/31 and the person interested contacted me upset that i had not raised the price of the book so he could purchase the next day (today)
  5. well I would argue that QBs on average are risking their health (especially long term) and their work window is much shorter, and the job pool is limited (32 open positions) which would justify some of the salaries numbers
  6. it's interesting to me that as a life long Godzilla fan, I've never looked at him as being bad (I know recently they've tried to make him good) I always looked at him as a creature doing what comes naturally curious to see if this throws people off
  7. i was watching the second episode and was like, did i miss something? the plot is too confusing and not important for me to care about i'll watch to see where it leads but i am not impressed
  8. i rewatched the first one recently since seeing in the theatre (i had tried to soon after it was released on max but couldn't get into it) great movie, excellent on everything acting, directing, story etc there is a lot of stuff that is very subtle for Bruce Wayne/Batman character arc (where he is in the beginning of the film vs the end) and i think it's to set up this film
  9. If Empire was released today, people would complain
  10. I would think that not all force sensitive children were in the Jedi temple (or being trained by Jedi) Maybe they could have taken a midichlorian count of Sabine to satisfy the masses
  11. He certainly help define the true meaning of the Jedi that was somewhat lost with the prequels he also gave us one of the best characters in Ashoka and helped flesh out Anakin Skywalker better than the prequels did
  12. I've heard Madison is good foot traffic but never attended it as buyer/seller Romeocon did fantastic foot traffic last time due to heavy promotion from the mayor, but his shows are primarily toy shows (Funko) however not sure what sales were like (don't know anyone who did it)
  13. it was decent, transactions were lower than before ($5-$10 vs $20) but overall number was consistent with what I normally make
  14. This continues to be the best local show in the area. 500+ attendees, with many customers that I only see at this show (outside of the big ones like Fan Expo/C2E2) I hope the trend continues but I have seen a decrease in the market
  15. yes i am setting up still - I've done 3 shows so far in September and this will be my 4th @captainzombie I was at Orland Park also. Where were you? I was in the main room and had BOGO on my boxes
  16. kinda hard to anyone seriously when you misspell common words i garantee it
  17. it's great to see him flesh out things that he had touched on before but now it's far more defined i think this provides greater context of who each of the characters are and why and how they ended up where they did
  18. i think the first 5 episodes are setting up a great final 3 episodes this certainly felt like ok we've caught all of you up, now buckle up, because it's going to be intense
  19. yes those are fantastic and i rewatched them last night after i caught up to Ashoka I will say the opening of the Vader vs Ashoka is so freaking wonderful the way she comes running (the second time around) in with the lightsabers behind her it's just so great, that episode is one of my favorite star wars moments plus the dialogue is great "i won't leave you....not this time" "then you will die"
  20. i love how the redemption of Anakin/Hayden in the past few years.
