  1. it's interesting to me that as a life long Godzilla fan, I've never looked at him as being bad (I know recently they've tried to make him good) I always looked at him as a creature doing what comes naturally curious to see if this throws people off
  2. i was watching the second episode and was like, did i miss something? the plot is too confusing and not important for me to care about i'll watch to see where it leads but i am not impressed
  3. i rewatched the first one recently since seeing in the theatre (i had tried to soon after it was released on max but couldn't get into it) great movie, excellent on everything acting, directing, story etc there is a lot of stuff that is very subtle for Bruce Wayne/Batman character arc (where he is in the beginning of the film vs the end) and i think it's to set up this film
  4. If Empire was released today, people would complain
  5. I would think that not all force sensitive children were in the Jedi temple (or being trained by Jedi) Maybe they could have taken a midichlorian count of Sabine to satisfy the masses
  6. He certainly help define the true meaning of the Jedi that was somewhat lost with the prequels he also gave us one of the best characters in Ashoka and helped flesh out Anakin Skywalker better than the prequels did
  7. I've heard Madison is good foot traffic but never attended it as buyer/seller Romeocon did fantastic foot traffic last time due to heavy promotion from the mayor, but his shows are primarily toy shows (Funko) however not sure what sales were like (don't know anyone who did it)
  8. it was decent, transactions were lower than before ($5-$10 vs $20) but overall number was consistent with what I normally make
  9. This continues to be the best local show in the area. 500+ attendees, with many customers that I only see at this show (outside of the big ones like Fan Expo/C2E2) I hope the trend continues but I have seen a decrease in the market
  10. yes i am setting up still - I've done 3 shows so far in September and this will be my 4th @captainzombie I was at Orland Park also. Where were you? I was in the main room and had BOGO on my boxes
  11. kinda hard to anyone seriously when you misspell common words i garantee it
  12. it's great to see him flesh out things that he had touched on before but now it's far more defined i think this provides greater context of who each of the characters are and why and how they ended up where they did
  13. i think the first 5 episodes are setting up a great final 3 episodes this certainly felt like ok we've caught all of you up, now buckle up, because it's going to be intense
  14. yes those are fantastic and i rewatched them last night after i caught up to Ashoka I will say the opening of the Vader vs Ashoka is so freaking wonderful the way she comes running (the second time around) in with the lightsabers behind her it's just so great, that episode is one of my favorite star wars moments plus the dialogue is great "i won't leave you....not this time" "then you will die"
  15. i love how the redemption of Anakin/Hayden in the past few years.
  16. so i just finished the essential Ashoka Disney Clone wars shows and it then jumps to episode 15 of season 1 of Rebels. There i was a bit lost so I decided to watch all of Rebels. Just started episode 1 Let me say that the evolution of Ashoka (character) in clone wars makes more sense to me now based on the episodes that Disney has laid out to watch that final season and the final episodes are some of the best Star Wars I've ever seen God Bless Filoni if only he had done episodes 7-9
  17. saw the movie last week I thought the first 15 minutes of the movie were great, it stayed good but some parts seemed a little dragged on. Gosling is fantastic, overall very solid. 3/4 stars my expectations were very high so it fell short but still good nonetheless
  18. the problems that keep coming up can be easily reduced the issue is that CGC cares more about profits than quality at this point we keep sending in books, why should they care to make any changes, according to revenue, things have never been better
  19. whoa, even more than Andor? which for me was the star wars I've been waiting for since Mandolorian and Luke's appearance Watching tonight, have the Scotch on the rocks ready
