No, but if anyone has a problem with that then don't go see them.  I'm tired of non-fans person_without_enough_empathying about all the superhero films when the solution is simple--just don't go, and stop your whining.  The volume of films is for us hardcore superhero fans who long for a world where comic book movies come out as often as comic books themselves used to come out.

Mostly I see critics doing the person_without_enough_empathying, but I'm immune to it.  All it means to me when I hear a critic make that complaint is that I shouldn't listen to any review your boss made you do for that movie.

I grew up reading comics in the early 70's and 80's and never thought in my wildest dreams I would be able to go see them at the movies. I go and see everyone at least once most of the time twice :applause:

Didn't seem to have a lot of traffic, and only 2 or 3 guys with any kind of inventory.  I suspect I got a better deal than I would have just because I was the only one in the room when I showed up.  There was a really bad accident out in front of the venue that stopped cars for several hours, unfortunately.

It wasn't very busy on Saturday either, I bet you got some real deals :applause:

Greetings all! New to the boards started collecting Marvel in the early to mid 70s, I can remember buying some uncanny X-men, 5 for a buck at a Genovese drug store!  Went into the service in 82 kept collecting and keeping up with my favorite titles until 1990 when I went home on leave for a death in the family and my whole collection had been stolen from our storage area.  So many key issues gone! Hulk 181 probably the most expensive! Continued to collect what titles I had collected until the mid to late 90s then stopped as marvel was pretty crazy with the titles. Retired from the service 10 years ago and Just recently got back into collecting again in the last two years and have some nice X-Men runs 94-500, FF 20-645, Complete run of Conan comics and Savage Sword and some others. Currently working on a CA and IM run. Plan on having some keys graded in the near future. My two sons that are grown and in the service now finally appreciate comics and are fans of certain titles. Plan on being a regular here and sticking with Silver through copper age and anything else that catches my eye. I currently follow a few of the newer titles Cap and IM and waiting for the FF to start back up again hopefully in the near future! Plan on being a regular on the board! Thanks Gene

But here's the thing... We were saying that we bounce around to fewer threads because the navigation is a pain. You're saying that you use that menu to see threads you've posted in, which means you've already been in there. How are those things really different? You're still limiting your board participation like we are, just with a more convenient menu.

the new boards for me have just been one big pain, I have to make myself get on here some days just to try to look around :preach:
