  3. I've been buying and selling on the forums since 2013, just not too much since the board redesign migration - see kudos link in my signature. No HOS or PL members. Shipping will be Priority Mail USPS to the USA: $15.00 for 1-4 slabs. Other countries PM please. Payment via Paypal only. No returns on CGC books. First claim in the thread is the and trumps any pending discussion. Enough rules, let's get to the books!
  4. Is he even on the floor? or a table? I'm really confused by the perspective.
  5. Closing this for the time being. If you're interested in something PM me, it may still be available.
  6. Are we sure this isn't an early April fool's joke ?
  7. Exactly, that's what I was going to ask. Who is buying the random "nothing" graded books? I do see some weird instances at local auction houses that don't generally have comics where a nothing graded book in like 8.0 goes for $30. Maybe that's the angle of buying something cheap? I get wanting a 9.8 run but yeah.... I don't know.
  8. Each book is contained in a stamp size mylar pouch, attached with archival photo-rated mounting squares onto to a Silver size 60pt ComicProLine clear backer board so both sides are easily viewable. It is also inside a Mylites 2 Silver size Mylar. All books appear to be unread/unopened. The bindings are known to be very fragile and well-loved and these are very nice copies. Sorry for the weird reflections in the photo. See scans for more detail. More info: https://taint-the-meat.com/2017/01/16/marvel-mini-books/ An excerpt from the above site: "..they were acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records as the smallest comic books ever published. Secondly, the covers came in six different colours — blue, red, orange, green, yellow and pale green — which makes them one of the earliest examples of variant cover marketing that are now common place in the industry. And lastly, keen-eyed reader’s will spot the appearance of a certain caped superhero at the end of the Spider-Man story, a full decade before the official Superman vs Spider-Man team-up of 1976." Let me know if you have any questions. You don't see a full set of 6 like this very often.
  9. I've been buying and selling on the forums since 2013 ish, just not too much since the board redesign migration - see kudos link in my signature. Shipping to the USA with Priority Mail is included at no additional cost. International will be at actual cost. Payment via PayPal only. No returns unless I happen to have missed something, and we can work it out. I don't foresee that happening but I try to be easy to work with and practice the Golden Rule in general. First posted in the thread by timestamp claims an item. Enough of the fine print...
  10. Modern standard track 18 books Received 2/14 CC charged 2/17 SFG 3/9 Grading/QC 3/19 Shipped 3/20! 16 x 9.8s and 2 x 9.6s, so not too shabby The two 9.6s were Darth Vader #3. It was super weird since I got the two books from completely different places, I think even different years, but they had the same small indent on the front cover. I thought it might have been treated as a printing defect but ah well. Either that or maybe some slight ink rub on the back since the back cover is heavy black. No graders notes. I can't complain overall! Very happy with the rest of the books. I've needed a win with this madness going on.
  11. Check your email! Rescheduled for Aug 2020, and April 2021 dates to choose which option you'd prefer. Or get a refund.
  12. We went out I think last Thursday night, before the waves of shoppers decided to hit all the stores.
  13. It's only a matter of time before the supply chain catches up and everyone who stocked up will already have it.. making that the case everywhere.
  14. My modern slow 18 books recieved 2/14 has been at SFG for awhile now.. hoping it'll not get stuck in Florida for the Spring
  15. I posted this in the "other coronavirus comics general thread" so sorry if it's a pain. Just want to help anyone out of they need it. https://www.nowinstock.net/home/healthhousehold/toiletpaper/ Not a perfect site but I was able to grab a 24 pack of mega rolls for $28 shipped to get us through since we didnt stock up before the madness.
  16. If anyone is low on TP and didn't stock up before it hit the fan, check this site for a roundup of the amazon items as they are in stock. I never thought I'd see PREORDERS for TP. https://www.nowinstock.net/home/healthhousehold/toiletpaper/ Not a perfect site but better than aimlessly browsing. I snagged a 24 big roll pack that should be here in a week to get us through.
