Going through some sketches I've purchased over the years and it's time to move a few along. All books are listed as close to original cost as I can remember. Most are from regional/local artists (so they won't be too expensive but still cool) and were commissioned or purchased at conventions. All books are NM or better unless noted. Shipping to the USA will be $5 flat per invoice, whether you buy 1 book or take them all. Other countries, PM me. Payment via PayPal only. No returns. First in the thread takes it. Let me know if you have any questions.

Agreed. I worry for my older family and the way misinformation spreads nowadays. Someone middle aged in one of my classes yesterday asked if we thought this whole thing was people trying to make POTUS look bad... Not interjecting any opinions on that here, but just be careful for your loved ones and how they get news.

Is everyone still planning on attending? I can't believe they are still planning on doing the con at this point with all the large events including NBA & NCAA games being affected. I'm sure MANY celebrity guests have dropped out that we haven't heard about, and the con organizers are weighing what to do at this point. -
Has the Corona virus affected any cons yet?

I'll be driving down with the wife for a couple days! We haven't been to PCC for a probably 2-3 years. What signs should I look for to be able to spot fellow boardies' booths? -

I was contacted by someone with a very small lot of books they inherited (less than 100). One of those one sentence emails along the lines of "I have a box of old comics" that usually yields little. So he starts sending a couple group photos and it's all random 70s Charlton... a 70s marvel here and there... some coverless.. then I'm stopped in my tracks. He just happened to luck out that he had one huge book. I paid him well for it. The other 3 better books I got in the lot (pictured) were not bad either by any means for low-mid grade copies. -
Ok I’m officially old and apparently poorly dressed.

Comictom101 was a guest, in charge of CGC's social media for the convention - I'm sure because he has a fairly large online following. This was likely done for them to both get publicity to their respective fans. The post was written by and assumingly posted by him as well. I wonder how much CGC was consulted before posting it. Personally I don't have much of a problem with how the book was handled to get the page count. I would imagine the book was carefully inspected just before this for overall grade and structure, as we only saw the very last step. We saw one specific angle and lighting can dramatize. I didn't see any specific damage done. It's easy to freeze a frame and look at it subjectively. As for the water bottle - it's a closed bottle, at a safe distance. Not the ideal choice of placement, but it's definitely not crossing any line of carelessness. -

Haha. There are actually some really funny PGX ones on ebay. In standard size slabs. I don't think anyone else will even grade them.

Found the interior photo online. Not opening mine up... they are so fragile and poorly bound (54 years ago) they can fall apart pretty easily.

While I love all the 1966 marvel mini books, the spider-man origin retold, and the superman cameo, I just can't shake the TWO absolutely terrible jokes at the end.
