Last time posting... I only need 2 more votes on my poll at Larry's Google+ spec page to get a free copy. If you could please take 2 seconds and 2 clicks I'd really appreciate it. All you need is Google+ and a finger to click. Poll is under Jeremy Downs here :
Thanks guys. I will return the favor if you are going for it as well, and I promise my next Pay It Forward offering will be impressive if I hit 20 tonight.

28 here and still learning new tricks Learned a great deal about grading since joining the forums and cgc. good luck with the framing!
-
Enormous had 2nd printings for its Phantom variant.
With a totally different, not as awesome cover
-
Has anyone ever known phantom to do a 2nd printing? In all the phantom variants I've seen I don't believe a 2nd print has occurred. I grabbed a handful of these since i missed out on EoS
With the printing and shipping schedules and the amount of books that get printed , I think 3 weeks is way too tight of turn time.

Looking forward to what Projekt's looks like!
I've learned a lot about framing in the past few years, as I have been selling my photography at various art festivals and markets locally. That method (for the EoW print) was what I did in my early days when budget was the main concern getting my work out there to the public. And of course I shoot in 16x9 format so the frame sizes HAD to be custom.
I was always the kind of kid that would take something apart to see how it worked and then put it back together. I've swapped hard drives that are difficult to get to (think old iMacs) and replaced easy to intermediate car parts with no experience other than youtube videos.
If that's the kind of person you are, I would highly recommend giving framing a shot if it interests you at all. I purchased a mat cutter awhile back off Craigslist, but it doesn't go big enough for this project - otherwise it would have had a fancy ol' mat too.
TLDR: "Looking forward to what Projekt's looks like!"
-
Thanks guys. If anybody wants the links for where I got the frames and acrylic, just shoot me a PM. Not quite as "archival" but got the job done on a budget for a custom size.
-
East of West round up:
1. Finally got all the pieces to my framing job in. I have experience with framing and so I ordered a custom size clear acrylic piece for the front and the custom cut metal black sectional frame from 2 separate places. Since it was an odd size, i went with no mat, but the acrylic blocks UV. Didn't want to spend a ton on it. Used a free piece of scrap foam core for backing from work. Total framing cost: $64.00 including shipping from 2 sources. Already hung above the bed (great girlfriend for allowing it )
2. New East of West this week!
3. With the announcement Hickman and Dragotta will be at c2e2, my con plans for this year have changed. I will likely attend at least Saturday, though I wish I could Friday.
-
I can vouch for that, Linguini . I bought 2 copies pretty much based off of your site's heads up. Bought them last Sunday before the storm that was.
-
It's slowed down (of course), but copies are still selling for $50 to $100. With all the hype this has caused, I can see copies on walls of cons this Spring still asking $50 a copy being realistic. Definitely will be the one variant people will talk about for awhile...
unless we get a Manara Princess Leia.
-
Definitely, Revat. I'd stay away from the headaches like pre selling something no one really knows even exists and fooling buyers. Scumbag is the right word.

Someone needs to put up a pic of Admiral Ackbar.
You can call him smart for capitalizing and hoping people either don't notice in the frenzy or don't care…
I call it a risky move that will likely result in surplus negative feedback and possibly more. He's protecting himself with that "non recalled" line and they'll be released "any day now", but is it even known if there will FOR SURE be a reprinting yet??
-
I think we need to rename this thread "No neg or not to neg"
In other news, Bleeding Cool finally gets another one right
-
Definitely leave the neg. If the tables were turned and prices plummeted, you would still be expected to pay full price on the items you committed to buy.
I decided to sell my other copy, which already sold - not too shabby but I'm out now. Best wishes for everybody holding. If a reprint happens soon, I don't think prices will hold.
-
Its a tough call IMO - if the series runs a long time without a reboot and the Hot Topic is the book with the fewest copies available, I can see it holding up. If they do a reprinting with or without tweaks, it might tank like crazy. I'm torn as well
-
Good lord, if you're holding some hot topic star wars #1s, its getting ridiculous. I sold one for $30 and I thought that was good. Glad I kept my other copy.
-
This thread just got weird.
-
So if the envelope looked that good, what was in it...?
-
So I got my sketch covers in the mail today! Here's an awesome touch that the artist did! Again, I cannot recommend him enough. He's an awesome dude with some real talent!
WHO DID THIS?!?? SERIOUSLY AWESOME

16 was one of my favorite issues thus far. Will be interesting to see how the "alliance" plays out.

This is an old listing, but I just saw it:
Does dmac know something we don't? or did I just miss the announcement back in September about an AMC show? Couldn't find anything about it…

"I'll send him unreleased Walking Dead episodes"…
Way to get fired, Beth! You can't break NDAs! Who do you think you is?!?!
-
I went to the casino for the first time in probably a year. Played the Walking Dead (video) slot machine a bit. The bonus games were pretty cool when they finally came around and the graphics and sound made it a fun experience. Anybody else played it?

I purchased a few books and they arrived very quickly and in the stated condition. Replies to messages fast. Would deal with again anytime! Thanks again!

I think the premise would make a great movie if done with the right actors as the 2 main characters. I only read it through like #5 ish, but have a few extra #1s. If you're holding a bunch, might as well keep holding how it is now.
