I think someone at EW.com forgot to publish their story

If you've ever seen the terrible footage of the Birmingham campaign, it makes perfect sense how strong that pressure can be against a human body. Add to that decomposition of a walker and it's not that far fetched... Other than slicing a head right in half like a katana.

HOW magazine interview with Ryan Browne. He created the cover for the latest issue. Interesting read to peruse if you like learning about the process. As I find myself at a tipping point of finding a new design job, this magazine has been a good starting point to get me thinking about it in the right way.

A Top 100 list is a little excessive when it comes to NEWLY hot books. A Top 20 would be more easily trackable, and way more current than listing books that were hot for a week then fizzled back to below cover.
In a year how many of these books will anyone care about?
It would only be a top 2 list then...

Larry has made a killing on the book already so any more heat is just extra toppings on his personal pan pizza.
The art is incredible and is suiting for a comic with kaiju.
A full length live action film based on it would rely on great special effects and direction. Who you gonna call? … Del Toro?

I think the same. It seems pretty apparent just from this thread that larger subs take a bit longer to move through. Not a huge deal (to me), but I can see where some would get frustrated.
Just how big was the sub that's hung up?.. if you don't mind sharing... PM me if ya need to
-
I'm guessing they are just doing a lot of smaller subs before your big one.
In a perfect system CGC would have someone assigned to making sure FIFO happens, but I don't think there's much true regulation on that, and even now it's likely the number of books per sub affects TAT to some extent.

A couple grades that are making me but a couple others make up for it. Also, I think putting the sub in just before SDCC books were verified helped a bit on turnaround.

The Official The Walking Dead Discussion Thread
in Modern Age Comic Books
Posted
It's probably been discussed already, but how is WD #53 such a cheap book at the moment?? If Abraham, Rosita and Eugene are going to be in the show anywhere near as long as in the books, I think the time to buy is now since prices have gone down a bit.
