  1. Oh, Roy doesn’t think I can grade? Where is that Edgar Church - Superman # 1…. I will show him! * mocking you using AI brings me a weird sense of joy. This will be my last one though. Most likely.
  2. As humans we have made machines to travel the world by land, air, or sea and to fly to the moon. Sadly though, we reached the limits of our capability when trying to design a machine to handle a comic book.
  3. That’s not his intended design purpose though. I got lost in this thread a while back so I may have missed the key points. Is it your opinion that we don’t have the tech, either by hardware or software to do it, or it’s just not cost effective?
  4. Ahhhhhh…. Teeth guard for grinding but I was very surprised it was by photos and not gel.
  5. I did? Now I’m lost…. All I said is that there are programs and equipment made to capture hundreds of images and splice them together into a final product. In the dental example, it is capable of making a perfect mold that fit around teeth perfectly for that person. That is impressive. Scanning a comic book seems less impressive but that’s just an opinion.
  6. I still don’t see it being that far fetched. Dental offices can now use a small camera that can take hundreds of pictures and make a perfect mold by splicing the photos together. (At least that’s how I understood it. Dentists can weigh in). It is not an x-ray and prevents having to do that gel mold. I could envision cameras doing the same thing as the pages are turned. It can then be analyzed and details listed. I don’t really see it an issue of could they do it, but more of would they want to.
  7. What does that even mean? You don’t need to edit it for my sake, I just thought it looked ridiculous. Generally, if I think someone is a nut or has issues, I don’t spend message after message engaging them and letting them know they are a nut. I just let them go to their happy place and ramble to themselves.
  8. I think he was parroting a comment aimed at him before but otherwise, yes, the community and moderators decide. Can you guys not go at each other even on Christmas? The stuff written different places from both sides are ridiculous. Aren’t all of you over 55 already? Why not just block him and enjoy the peace?
  9. If we can map a brain we map some comic book pages. It would learn the more it does. I believe the image capturing would be able to grab everything it needs from normal speed turning of pages.
  10. Right? Packaging up books is too much work and expense but opening up a new business and setting it up is
  11. I haven’t participated in a while but it is one of the best days of the year here.
  12. Sure, but when they also say the buyer backed out, I find that hard to believe.
  13. I am even more suspicious when the second chance offer is like 2 minutes later. Like sureeee they backed out that fast.
  14. I will never understand the 10 year thing. It’s not like he was growing and raising a new Flash like it was a Baby Groot.
  15. I actually enjoyed the original mini-series. It had a great cast. I rewatch it every few years. You can’t go wrong with a rewatch of Christine, Shawshank, or Carrie.
  16. Any type of order or judgement from the court that was not followed may count as one.
  17. Soooo…. Any cool news about the actual movie?
  18. It would be interesting to know what those 15 charges are for. That’s a lot of judgements or orders that were violated.
  19. I still think the elves picked Harvey Swick # 1 one year because they liked his name. He deserved it though.
