  1. With his own spin off origin movie, teaming up with Scooby
  2. Regarding the rancor and how Boba got it. I might have missed something in a prior episode, but why did the two Hutts come back and warn him about the Pikes and give him this gift? They obviously weren't there to collect the wookie gladiator. Why didn't they just stay out of it and be content with eating scurrying reptiles?
  3. If we were actually meant to care about the mods and modettes, they should've done more in-depth scenes with them. As it stood I couldn't tell you any of their names in the last ep or really even care to know. Just bad story telling. And the fact that Boba actually took tactical advise from one of them that was horrible made it even worse.
  4. Agreed. I'm glad this show is done, just didn't live up to expectations. Can't wait for Obi Wan, hope its not just another vehicle for Mando.
  5. It really doesn't need its own thread...perhaps it should go into the Cornfield lounge thread or the TWBFCGC thread
  6. Always sad when a fellow board member passes away...RIP
  7. Batman #4 - 5.0 Fight Against Crime #20 - 4.0 Fantastic Four #50 - 6.0 Star Wars #1 (1977) - 8.0 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (1988) 9.0 Looks like an 8
  8. Pretty much! I've had to ask people I know who have seen the CW series about the references or consult the internet. I might have to break down and watch it.
  9. See this is the problem. If you didn't watch the Clone Wars show, which I didn't, then you are scratching your head as to why they aren't showing his origins.
  10. That could be. I'm thinking the only way to redeem this terrible start is in season two go back to his beginnings after his father gets his head sliced off and show how he became the bad arse bounty hunter. Show how he got the iconic armor and gained his combat skills and make it about him. Because otherwise calling it the Book of Boba Fett makes no sense when you let other characters take over the show.
  11. Does anyone know if Favreau explained why he went in the direction he did with the Boba Fett character (taking over Jabba's business and such)? Why not come at it from the angle of Fett seeking revenge against the rebels as part of the story? Its not even mentioned in BoBF. He surely must hold some resentment toward Solo who batted him into the pit.
  12. There are online places that you can submit a photo and have it turned into a poster.
  13. These weren't three Pikes and he was more focused on his inept deputy's shaky hand then anything.
  14. Another thing that made no sense was the gun fight at Tatooine Corral. Why is the EXPERIENCED Marshall standing in the middle of the street to greet this obvious bad guy? Why not move to the doorway to have some cover? And better yet why not tell the deputy who must have some training to be an actually deputy to go get a rifle or a few other villagers? After all aren't they good fighters as Mando put it?
  15. This article says it all, the show has become nothing but fan-service and cameos. My only question is if they used a 60 year old actor to play a late 30s character, why not use Mark Hamill to play a young Luke?? https://screenrant.com/star-wars-book-boba-fett-cameos-story-problems/
  16. Guess they couldn't find a 9.8 Shadowhawk for the pic
  17. Not me, I never really cared for the Waltons.
  18. I catch comictom101 and mint hunter comics. Also catch some of the mystery box unveilings as I was considering purchasing a few. But after seeing some of the drek they get, I'm hesitant. The Dorkerys do seem to have consistently good boxes.
  19. Sorry but I beg to defer, if you google man leaning against wall you will see many examples of the part of the foot showing.
  20. You should've made the cap at 400, that way 353 wouldn't be a big deal
  21. Another really cool cover from that run...
