  1. Sorry but I beg to defer, if you google man leaning against wall you will see many examples of the part of the foot showing.
  2. You should've made the cap at 400, that way 353 wouldn't be a big deal
  3. Another really cool cover from that run...
  4. I really liked his work in X-Men when I collected them as a kid, especially #183, Jugs vs Colossus! Love how he put Wolverine leaning against the bar on the cover.
  5. I figured, but I didn't see any part of the shoe so I wasn't sure.

    SS Sketch covers

This question is in regards to a book which has a sketch that is on both the front and back cover. If it's possible to make a wider holder, would CGC consider slabbing the book spread open to see the whole sketch at once?
  7. I almost quit watching the show due to the Back to the Future chase scene
  8. It's probably a good thing the M and F aren't connected at the bottom though.
  9. What they should do is have him just leave the helmet on most of the time ala Mandalorian.
  10. Agree 100%. As much as I like Temuera as an actor, I wish they had hired a younger like alike. Every time he takes off his helmet he shows his age. Isn't Boba Fett supposed to be in his 30s somewhere at this point in the SW storyline?
  11. For me any X-Men book or related title (New Mutants, etc) was a big deal, I couldn't get enough. Also was way into M. S. Secret Wars (1984), the story was epic and the covers were great. On the non-comic side, I loved collecting Garbage Pail Kids cards...still got a number of sets kicking around somewhere in the back of one of my closets.
  12. Nice placement, but what would've made it perfect is if they double signed upside down in the glasses of the mirror image
  13. I never collected multiple copies either. I see a book I like and I buy one copy and that's it. If I see someone who collects multiples I assume they are a hoarder or a speculator, even if they aren't. The only multiples I collect are sig books, but that is multiples of one creators signature. I do it because I love sig books and certain sigs in particular. So by that logic I imagine those that collect (hoard, not spec) multiple books do it for the same reason I collect multiple sigs of the same individual, because they really dig the book.
  14. That's why I said personally I wouldn't. Spidey isn't even in my top 5 superheroes that I like.
  15. Would love to know why the bidders were willing to pay so high a price. Are they the biggest fans of Spidey/Venom ever or were just bored and had a lot of money to burn. Personally it would take owning Supes or Batman's or the X-Men's first app. to get me to pony up that much change (wish I had it to spend ).
