I loved Aragones, Davis and Jaffee best. My fav being Aragones who was a master at producing a funny gag with no words.

The parodies were great but what I really loved was the illustrations. They had some great artists working for them.

How much more valuable are signature series books?

Any book (not just SS books) are only as valuable as what someone is willing to pay you for it. There really is no way to say the book will go up by whatever amount with a sig. And just IMHO, I would never get a sig on a key book, not even Stan Lee. The reason is SS books are not everyone's taste, so if you needed to re-sell it you would have a much smaller market to do so in. -

The original pic is better and the words can be read quite easily, I made sure of that when I sold it on ebay. And I'm not bashing those who use scanners, but if you don't need to show every little nook and cranny of a book, than there are cheaper alternatives that don't take up half a room!
