  1. Then maybe it is dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens of times
  2. Actually its only been asked a handful of times, just seems like more
  3. I get the feeling you were waiting for a thread such as this!
  4. Back when I was a lad and collecting X-Men books, some of my favorite covers came from that time. 4 of those (2 from Romita Jr. & 2 from Silvestri):
  5. I feel your pain, I had a 9.8 that I sold for under a hundred bucks
  6. I have been mostly buying lately and haven't sold anything recently. But my two most regrettable sales were a bunch of Byrne SS books and an X-Men 1. I way undersold all those books compared to what they go for now, especially the XM 1. However as has been pointed out its what you do with the money, still I would love to have those books back and hold onto them.
  7. Starring Nic Cage, Jack Nickolson, Gary Oldman and Durock
  8. I'd bribe John Byrne to do a private SS signing and get all my dream books of his signed!
  9. I've seen yellow label DC books signed by Stan the Man...he could sign virtually anything.
  10. That makes two of us! Me for one book in particular that I woefully regret selling now. But to answer the thread question...if I had the money I would go with AC 1, Supes being my second favorite character of all time.
  11. If it makes Freddie Krueger say wow, look out!
  12. You posted some cool covers! My favs are the Jim Lee's and Jock covers, such as...
  13. What I can't understand is why the 2nd printing is getting high prices. Its basically just a reprint but 9.8s are going for $200 - $300.
  14. So if I sell something for $600 or more while living in the state of MA I will be taxed if I use PP, then turn around and buy something with that same money, I will get taxed again? Taxachusetts is right!
  15. If it's the grade you aren't happy about, you can't let that bother you when it comes to SS books because the yellow label makes it a qualified grade. So you have to not worry about whatever grade you may get and focus on is it worth the price of the signatures to me that I will be getting back. Unless you have plans of selling it down the line then its a different story. But if not, forget the grade and be happy you got a book signed by 3 celebs.
