I would rather the high grade with the off-wht than a lower grade with wht...pages will not be seen once they are encapsulated (unless of course the book is de-slabbed) and the higher the grade the better.

Someone mentioned on that site that Kevin Bacon would be a good Rick. I could see that. Would rather see relatively unknown actors in all character positions and being a LOST fan having Jacob (Mark Pellegrino) as Rick just would seem to odd!

wow. how are you guys getting these sketches? i've never seen kirkman, adlard, or moore, at any convention i've ever been to, let alone doing sketches. are these done through his agent? and can these be had for less than $100? is there anyone i can pay to have this done for me (the idea of standing in an hour line doesn't appeal to me)? +1

The one currently on ebay sold for $2K last time, and now is sitting at some silly price. There are three 9.9's out there (two of which are SS). I perused through the site as well and after going through each page I cant believe just how few actually contain zombies. I have read each issue and never really noticed how many head shots there are but few pages show zombies.

I was thinking about this...they could harnass the zombies and dangle a dead (foot/arm/etc.) in front of them so they walk until they drop..kinda like the donkey and carrot thing!

The cure theory is very compelling...or perhaps they experiment on the zombies themselves trying to get a cure.

One thought after reading the last issue: If it looks to good to be true, it usually is! And judging by the expression on Rick's face at the end, you just know it aint gonna last! I doubt it will be like what happened with the Gov and the prison because that would be to repetitive, but something nasty is gonna happen! And regarding the tv series, he may be a tad bit to old now, but Ned Beatty may have made a perfect Dale:
