I too picked up the first 8 tpb and it was great reading through them cuz the way they are set up you dont really know where one issue left off into the next. (thumbs u Exactly - keep the good story arcs coming and entertain me. It's the Walking Dead not the Stopping Dead. Keep it going as long as the sales and creativity warrant it. I agree...keep it going by all means, but I would like to see somewhere down the line at least some semblance of an explaination of how it all started. That was always one of my favorite things about the "zombie" type movies is finding out how it all started.

We have only seen the US represented, so maybe the US was in an overseas war that was massive and involved most of the military just before all this started and most of the troops were infected during that war. Is that reaching too far

We do not yet know exactly how all this started, so it is possible it started with the military and maybe wiped out much of the forces.

I agree. too short! If you compare regular books of the past (ie not supersized or double sized, etc), the page content/number of pages is pretty much the same. The big difference is in the WD book, there are no ads between the pages, which is why it seems like a faster read. And its another thing I love about this book...no commercials!!!
