  1. Thor 261 (lone 9.8 s/s copy) only s/s copy on census to date
  2. Wish I had the #1 that was signed by Chicklas!!!!!!!! (note to the wise---only give Sinnott and Roy Thomas SILVER PENS!!)
  3. When I was a kid, I remember this coming in the mail and reading it over and over. Tried to do a glass etching with a sandblast maching in 9th grade art glass with this cover. Can't remember how it turned out but I remember the stencil work took me forever. The only thing missing that would have made this perfect would be a Romita Sr. signature. Somehow we missed getting this in NYC
  4. Sienkiewicz uses a white-out paint pen used for corrections on type...I used to have one of those in college and then my day job...they come in a little blue bottle, and I pretty much ask him to use that on almost everything he signs. Neal Adams had a thin silver opaque metalic pen, like the ones you can get at Hallmark or Michael's. Those are nice, you just have to be careful because they can blot. Harlan used a silver sharpie.
  5. Just in today too...something to keep my DD 168 company! (and my 9.2 s/s Wolfman & Buckler cpy of #131)
  6. sketched by the creator of Metamorpho herself, Ramona Fradon.
  7. Signed by Jeff Combs, the actor that played Dr. Herbert West in the movie!
  8. I like this idea, maybe we can set one up for C2E2? I know I am going to be set up at the show and we know the lobby area for the show (if held in the same location is MASSIVE), maybe we can just set up a meeting area after the show and bring some books to see what people are interested in for trading? Me too! I think I will definitely make the trek out to C2E2 this year since I've never been. And if this is the only way I am going to get JJ to buy me that frackin' beer he owes me...
  9. What two cps of the same book...? Boodock lost gig 1 boondock sketch with sketch boondock 1 proper boondock 2 (3 sigs) Unless you're talking about the Nightmare book, but that's a sketch by Englund and then a sketch by Heather. That qualifies as one of a kind, no?
  10. Boondock Saints #1 sketch cover variant Signed & sketched by Norman Reedus, signed Sean Patrick Flannery
  11. Freddy sketch by Robert Englund, signed by both Englund and Langencamp
  12. My thanks to Joe "Huggybear" Pierson and Gemma for making the final swipe at this 3x a charm book for me....they added Stan Lee to this bad boy a few weeks back at the private signing. After three cracks and subs the book still held it's orig grade! (I still think it looks 9.8, but it's killer) Thanks to everyone at my favorite slab shop in Sarasota for this gem!
  13. Because I asked him to. Black sketch looks better then silver...he'd signed in silver first.
  14. I dunno how THIS got in my collection....oh right. I had to kill someone. The silver Janson signature is much deeper and presentable. The flash on the camera just lit the thing right up though.
