  1. Thanks Brittany and to all the CGC staff!!
  2. I don't know if this has been brought up, is the Image Expo Preview considered the first appearance of Seven to Eternity? I was there for the presentation and was blown away by it, unfortunately never picked up the first issue. I had the opportunity to have all the artist and writers of new books coming out sign three copies of the preview issue.
  3. hard to distinguish between his mistakes and his hits Don't knock this sub. This is one of my best one in years.
  4. My first cover from my buddy Johnnie Christmas,TMNT Universe # 1 Yesteryear Variant
  5. That 9.4 was mine tied with the highest graded, that makes yours the single highest graded copy. Congrats!!!
  6. Per Adam on his Facebook page, he will sign 5 for FREE, and will charge for anything above that. They said if you got back on line again, you could get another five signed, unless the line is capped. I have 3 days to try, so should work out. I think he is over in artists ally this year, and that tends to be a little less crowded. Spoke to Adam this morning, definitely not doing sketches, giving his hands a break this weekend. He said doing everything for his new book he has not time for commissions.

  8. Was excited about this when Rick Remender talked about it at Image Expo this year in Seattle.
  9. CGC will have done three On site gradings by Labor day weekend, Tampa, Chicago and Baltimore. That is one less encapsulation machine that is going around, not including graders and quality control, and that is your delay.
  10. Love when that happens! Also, I've never figured why #51 is in so much demand (granted it's a cool cover), when #50's cover totally blows it away. #50 reigns supreme for his Catwoman run IMO. Researching around online a bit, it turns out Lost fans scooped it up because of the Lost numbers on the cover. On a different note, anyone pick up the SDCC Betty and Veronica variant? I picked up 2 copies that are at CGC right now. Hoping they come back as a 9.8. They sold out of them by Mid-Thursday at SDCC. They were not restricting the amount of copies you could get. I was in line with one guy who purchased 20 of them right on the spot. Later as it seems like they would run out , they limit it to 5. They still sold out in 3 hours, i have 5 SS at CGC right now.
  11. Spoke to Frank at SDCC, he is finishing some other projects, and hopes to continue the series sometime late fall or early winter time period this year.
  12. Yes, one of the first that we went to at the show. While I was looking at the wall books and DCs , Joey was working the boxes. It was part of an OO collection that he purchased a few weeks ago from the OO's son after the OO died. He bought like 8 boxes of books at that time and told the guy that if he waited a couple of days, he would buy the remaining 12 boxes for 8-12K. For whatever reason, the guy sold it to another local store for $3K the next day. There was a raw Hulk 181 and 182 in those boxes which sold for $3K by themselves by the other store. Very strange. Joey knows what Joey is doing. Awesome books Joey and Greggy, good thing i was not there Greggy wouldn't have a chance at those books
