  1. 1000 individually numbered, most people there with books did not have the bookplate.
  2. No sketch not so crowded, they went from two items signed to four, went pretty fast.
  3. Got two of these for the signing tomorrow, you need a ticket for the signing. The bookplate singing was done a little while back when Fiona Staples was in the city. The COA is for the bookplate, you will get another tomorrow at the signing for the book.
  4. These just came, pretty decent haul. Sorry it is side ways
  5. Interesting article about Wytches from Scott Snyder and Jock http://www.huffingtonpost.com/savas-abadsidis/season-of-the-wytch-scott_b_6065328.html
  6. It will be interesting to see when people start getting there MFT back from NYCC.
  7. The biggest worry is fingerprints on the back cover, very easy to do.
  8. Print run on #4 is about 6K from what I was told. You are right, but i believe that may be split between the regular and the variant. The # 4's at the show took a major hit from something while on the pallet, lots of damaged copies, hopefully stores fair much better. The # 4 Variants were still in good shape.
  9. I'm sure there were a select few who got to pick through the copies. I was told by one of the guys that works at the Image booth that they were rough on the first day, but was handed 5 9.8 candidates. I made the mistake of trading a NYCC for a 4th World to one board member, maybe one day he will return the favor. All my books went in for SS. The next day i picked up two more copies, not even 9.6 which i turned around and sold to another board member.
  10. In a similar boat. I want a NM+ copy for my collection, in no rush to get it graded. Thing is, with Midtown I usually get bad luck in terms of condition. I'd like to get one solid copy instead of having to resort to replacements/returns for once. Doesn't happen all the time, just that my track record with them is spotty. Seeing as how Wytches has been picked up for the film treatment, when is Image Expo? Another variant for the first issue or a subsequent issue could be in the bag. I went thru a stack at Midtown to find just four 9.8 worthy, I take the book out of the bag to inspect it before buying their variants. You also have to beware of fingerprints on the back cover.
  11. It worked if you got there Thursday when the show first opened.
  12. Think the heat on the issue 1 second print is largely a result of the fact that only 800 were printed. So...will end up being one of the tougher ones. I went through a large stack of them at NYCC, and the vast majority of the ones at the show were also badly damaged. Actually there only 600 of the 1 2nd print, total count of all three 2nd prints of 1 is around 1900. This includes both Kaiju covers as well.
  13. It was short 75, which I was told was sent to Image's office, so they actually have 500, but sold only 425 at the show.
