CGC will be accepting submissions for blue labels at booth 2522, if you get there early there is not much of wait, as the day goes it's a different story. The new Kiosk process makes bringing your submissions really easy, log into the Kiosk when you first arrive to be put on a virtual list, when you time comes they will text you when it is your time to submit. This way you can walk around the show, and submit when they text you back. Submitting at shows is so convenient , you save on shipping, you can ask questions directly with a CGC rep, and everything is packed securely. -

2522 and S1B -
You are absolutely right!!

I was assuming he wanted it CGC SS, since he posted it in the Signature Series Room.

There is no current set time that Todd will be handling private signings, that is only time you can get Signature Series books signed. He will not do CGC at shows.

Depends on what mood he is in. -
Another thing to note, you don't need to worry about the Post Office damaging or losing your submission. Another thing is the cost of postage to CGC, shipping and insurance.

You will most definitely get a Green Label, but some people want the book graded and don't care about the Green. If you know you witnessed the signature, and have no plans of selling, then more power to you. -
Do Creators Keep Track of the Going Rate for Their Sigs?

As a witness at the shows, prices are all over the place, there is just no way to figure it out. Sometimes i have had creators ask "what should i charge?", the best response is what do you need it for? Some creators actually make ends meet at these shows, so it is hard to judge what they are charging, remember they get no residuals. The average fee ranges from nothing, to Rob Liefield getting $80, most charge $10- $20, some charge to help other creators for the Heroes Initiative for example Jim Starlin, Mike Mignola and Whilce Portacio. Another point is buyers are sometimes oblivious how much money goes into a book before it gets to Ebay, between buying the book , grading fees, writer and artist fees, you maybe looking at whopping $90 before it's even sold. -
At Terrificon this year was practically the whole crew behind the Death of Superman. One night we saw all of them having dinner together, Dan Jurgens, Tom Grummet, Gerry Conway and Brett Breeding, we called it the Superman table.

I was able to get 14 moderns graded the same day, and nine of them had to be relabeled, and that was done the same day. I purchased a bunch of books from Greg Reece, and that was my total purchases. Show was slow, but attendance was good, just not enough to do.
