  1. I am nominating BruceParker whose real name is Alex Hope. I see that he has already been nominated by Amazing Comics as well. We had an agreement for him to purchase my ST110 CGC SS 8.0. We were to do a face to face transaction in Edmonton. A week before, I tried to contact him to set up the specific time and place. He failed to respond to my messages, texts, phone messages, or phone calls. I tried nearly every day to contact him leading up to the date. I hauled the book from Saskatchewan to Edmonton on my holiday to do the deal, and he never did respond. For failing to fulfill his side of the bargain, rudeness in ignoring me, I feel he should be submitted for probation.
  2. Price dropped to $7300 shipped! This is now below GPA people. Can we make a deal here? I've had a couple of inquiries but nothing solid yet! This is my last bump before I think I'll move it over to Comic Link.
  3. Hi all, I tried selling this a little while ago but had no luck. I'm here to try again with a lower price. Price is $7500 $7300 shipped. This is now BELOW GPA. I will send it via FedEx fully insured (which is considerably expensive, roughly $300+ depending on location. This is reflected in the selling price) I am in Canada and willing to deal in Canadian dollars with fellow Canucks (whom I prefer to sell to). I will accept Paypal but could be convinced to lower the price by 3.7% if paying directly via electronic funds transfer which I prefer. There are no returns on this baby provided I send you the correct book (which I will obviously). Buyer is responsible for all customs fees associated with receiving this book. Please do your research!! I'm willing to consider REASONABLE offers. I'm quite firm on the price, but if you're Canadian we could cut a better deal as shipping is cheaper here in Canada. I've sold expensive books on here before and can be trusted. Here's the link to my Kudos thread First in the threads trumps all negotiations. I reserve the right to refuse sale to any one who looks at me funny or generally upsets me in any way. Feel free to PM me and thanks for looking!!
  4. Thanks for the interest folks but this i now closed. Basement renos will have to wait! I may try again another time.
  5. Final Bump All. Thanks for the offers, but if this doesn't sell after this bump, I'll just keep my lovely book!
  6. By the Crimson Bands of Cytorrak and the Rings of Raggadorr I command thee to PM me with an offer! Bump 2
  7. By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth!! Do none who exist on this plane of existence desire this book?! :bump
  8. Strange Tales 110 First Doctor Strange CGC SS 8.0 Hi all, Today I am selling my precious. I'm doing renos on my basement and have stalled due to funds but really want to finish it off. Thus, I am selling my copy of Strange Tales 110, CGC SS 8.0 My price is $8,000 USD shipped. I will send it via FedEx fully insured (which is considerably expensive, roughly $300+ depending on location. There are no returns on this baby provided I send you the correct book (which I will obviously). Buyer is responsible for all customs fees associated with receiving this book. Please do your research!! I'm willing to consider REASONABLE offers. I'm not in a huge rush to sell. My basement can wait if it needs to I've sold expensive books on here before and can be trusted. To all of you who don't like signature series books, keep your negative comments to yourselves. I personally love Stan Lee and I know there are many out there who agree with me who prefer the signature. Feel free to PM me and thanks for looking!!
  9. Hey all, I don't want to sell these, but I kind of need the cash. First up is Fantastic Four 67, CGC 9.2. This copy is perfectly centered! Asking $725 USD shipped with tracking and insurance to Canada or US. This one is at a low in price now, so it is a good time to pick up a copy. Next is Strange Adventures 180, CGC 8.0. This is a rare book to find in grade. I'm really loathed to let this one go. Asking price for this one is also $725 USD shipped with tracking and insurance. I accept Paypal and Electronic Funds transfer. First in the posts trumps any negotiations. Feel free to PM me with an offer, but these are fair prices based right on current GPA. I would be willing to cut a deal for someone willing to take both. Check out the pics. 10. I think $3500 is touching the high end of the spectrum. I was hoping the $3999 was real, but it sounds like it was a shill. Yeah it was relisted almost right away.
  11. Here's my baby. Got it signed at Calgary Expo this past April and it just showed up at my door! I've loved the Turtles since I was a kid. It was amazing to meet Kevin in person! He was awesome! He took time to take pics with my kids and I and was incredibly kind.
  12. Andy was awesome to deal with. Super fast payment. Hope to deal with him again! Thanks!
  13. What does everybody think of Paul Rudd being cast for the movie???
  14. That's about what the one on Heritage went for in their Nov auction if I'm, not mistaken. -J. Yeah the one on Heritage went for $6572, but I owed that price hike to the Don/Maggie Thompson pedigree.... I know some people do, but I take "pedigrees" with a grain of salt. A book, is a book, is a book. And the grade is the grade. If it happens to be a "pedigree", whoop-de-doo. But I will never pay a premium for it. An 8.0 is a pretty high grade for this book, so I'm not surprised to see it starting to get that high. It's been rising fairly consistently in all grades for the better part of a year now, and they are not as commonly offered in a "decent grade" (i.e, 7.0+) as people realize. -J. I totally am with you on the pedigree thing. I as well would not pay a premium for pedigree, but it seems you and I are not the ruling party as typically, on GPA, pedigrees are going for a premium. I am happy to see this one going up though. Almost makes me tempted to sell my CGC SS 8.0....but not really

  16. Just saw on GPA that an 8.0 sold for $6675 this month??? That's a huuuuuge jump in price.... Off-white to White pages.
  17. Thats a lovely book Chris TTA 27 is a tough book to find with nice eye appeal. This book has tremendous eye appeal. A great copy. Congrats ! +1000 AGEED! Beautiful.
  18. Thanks! The defects keeping it down there are a small chip in the top right corner, and an almost imperceptible crease with color break in bottom right. I have to squint to see it. I'm really happy with this one. I got it from Joey a few months back and sent it to Desert Winds. I think its tied for highest graded signature series at the moment.
  19. My entry into the club. After spending several months at CGC and Desert Wind Comics, here it is!
  20. Nice! Looks like a 7.5 or 8.0 to me. How much paper loss?
  21. Thanks! I kind of think its closer to a 6.0 myself, but I trust CGC (unlike many others I know).
