  1. "Edwina's insides were a rocky place where my seed could find no purchase"
  2. Although I will give Awax a passing grade for mentioning the fantastic "Wild at Heart" the fact that there has been a Nicholas Cage discussion and not one mention of "Raising Arizona" should result in a yellow card or penalty or whatever ridiculous thing is done to people on here when they commit a foul. I am severely disappointed in this group.
  3. Hate the game not the "Playa". Lance Armstrong definitely lives in Todd's Universe. As does Barry Bonds and his overgrown HGH Pumpkin Head.
  4. Technically I think once you lose "a" nut then the remaining nut can pass as a left or right nut. Just depends on which side it "rolls" to at a given moment. I am pretty sure Lance Armstrong won 4 Tour de France races with his nut hanging to the left, 2 with it hanging to the right and 1 with it right down the middle...go figure.
  5. Has anyone heard a definitive update for new issues, or a potential Television update? Wasn't there going to be a board game at one point? If this is old stuff, I apologise, I don't visit the Modern section too much nowadays. I don't think u have missed anything. It has been rather stagnant but i personally am in for the long haul. Just a fantastic read that i think will translate well to tv. Nigel is BACK! Thought you were in prison or something the way you dropped off the map so quickly. Great to hear from you. Yes, things are moving slowly with everything. But they say good things come to those who wait! So just imagine how good it's gonna be. Anywhoooo -- yes, I did say something about spotting me with some TV folks at SDCC. And in a million years I never thought anyone would. So it was pretty funny when I met with the animation company on Friday at the Hilton Gaslamp restaurant ...and right as I'm about to leave I see one of my favorite retailers sitting at the table right behind me! He'd been eavesdropping the whole time!! But he's sworn to secrecy.... I actually was in Prison. I roomed with Jerry Sandusky for the first 3 months....sooooooo i won't be playing Tight End on my 40 and older Football League Team this fall. Son of a B@$!!!! You had me right up until '40 and older.' Somehow I don't think you're Jerry's type. If you wet my hair and slick it back i could pass for a young 32...not to mention I wear Robin Underoos.
  6. Ken! We missed you, brother! Always good to hear from you. I enjoy whippings, but only from leather clad ladies whose first names for some reason are always Mistress or Madame... Here's a true story: I sent some homing pigeons from NY to SD, with microphone helmets attached to their tiny heads, to try to eavesdrop on your convo with the animation company (Titmouse?), but as fate would have it, said pigeons were intercepted by Mike Tyson and my plan was foiled. Iron Mike thought my spy pigeons were alien lifeforms, so he demanded a ransom with the threat "I'll eat your pigeons!" I considered going on a rescue mission, but then remembered as per The Hangover he owns a tiger and still has a mean right hook, so I changed my mind. As for Nigel being back, maybe he'd fallen into Charlie Rose's table and recently managed to escape... or maybe Tyson had kidnapped him too... "it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again." I should have known something was up when "Papaw" Jerry handed me a bar of soap my first night. I found out "Purple was the new Black".

  11. Thanks. I did go to the Chicago Comic Con with my 12 year old daughter. We got John Carpenter and Bruce Campbell's Autographs. Pretty Cool. I couldn't get Bruce Campbell to say "Workshed" though....bummer.
  12. Traveling for work. Since January 27th. I have seen coworkers more than the wife and kids the last 8 months. Almost over. Sitting in a hotel room right now and thought i would recover my password. Been meaning to do it for awhile.
  13. Todd is certainly worth the wait IMHO. Ken, I recall you making a comment right before SDCC that if attendees saw you with a "group" of people that we would have a clue as to the status of TV production. I do not recall any comments beyond that initial post. Has there been a snag? I certainly understand if you cannot comment. Keep up the good work. Thanks! "This one goes to 11"!
  14. That makes sense especially with this book. I read the seller's answer to a question when he relisted the book: "The negative review should hopefully be getting pulled from my account. The buyer didnt pay for insurance, the book was damaged and he couldn't get a full refund" I don't care how much positive feedback a seller has; any legit eBay seller knows it's the seller's responsibility to get the item to the buyer as indicated in the listing. The buyer is automatically protected through eBay, so there's no reason for the buyer to purchase insurance. Any buyer who purchases insurance on an eBay listing is just getting scammed into protecting the seller on the buyer's dime. Agreed. But if I'm the buyer and I buy a raw book for $150, I'm questioning the shipping method before the seller ships. Especially when the shipping is only a few dollars. True. And even the positive feedback on the RRPs sold said a bubble mailer with cardboard was used to ship. Inexcusable. How so? A 10x15 bubble mailer with 4 good cardboard sheets is almost bullet proof. Now if any smaller then yeah that's inexcusable and $7 is very very high. That being said I would think a legal flat rate envelope would have been better due to letting more cardboard in. [/ I actually work for the Post Office. A couple of things to know that make what this seller did even more annoying. 1. The maximum cost he spent if he used a Bubble Mailer w/ cardboard is roughly $3.50 (so why is he charging $7) 2. 1 comic in a BM w/ cardboard more than likely ways 7-8 ounces which would cost $2.39-$2.53 after the Paypal/Ebay discount on shipping. 3. Priority Mail Flat Rate is $5.60 before the Paypal/Ebay Discount so still well under the $7. 4. Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes are segregated from other Priority which means they won't be as likely to get damaged since most Priority Flat Rate Envelopes are used for "payments". No excuse for poor shipping when you are charging $7.
  15. Comics looked great. Worked with me on payments. Even thru in some cool freebies. A+
  16. I don't know what the orders for #6 were based on, but I do know that it sold out within a few days of release --- so it's fair to say that it was under ordered. We all need to keep spreading the "Gospel of TODD." TODD 3:16 WWTD Todd is a "pure heart" in a world of sin...maybe this is Ken's vision of the second coming.
  17. I can understand getting an artist unconnected with a book draw eg Batman on a Batman book. I also saw a cool Spider-man blank that had the "man" scored out and "Jerusalem" written instead and obviously a sketch of Spider Jerusalem on it. I really liked that cos it was clever. I have no understanding of a Breaking Bad quote on an EoW comic though. No offence to R_H. Who did u mean to offend if not Revival Hoarder? I love the "no offense" comment right before saying something that could quite possibly offend someone. What i really don't understand is why someone even has to comment negatively about what he had done with the Blank Cover. That is why it is blank so that you as the consumer can do as u choose. Me personally...I think it kicks . Gus Fring rocks, EoW rocks and then some. What if the guy who invented the Reese Cup had listened to the Naysayers..."No offense Mr. Reese but that is just a dumb idea"! I wouldn't be "80 Lbs over my playing weight" and we would not have the greatest invention of all time. Revival Hoarder i love it. Now if you could just get a matching one signed by Bryan Cranston that says "Say my name"! Oh calm down. Just always amused when someone says "no offense" followed by something that could quite possibly offend. Just state the opinion...all I'm saying.
  18. +1 Scope of this comic is incredible.

  20. Hmmm...Is that a battery operated version??? Fantastic..."ribbed for her pleasure". Party on Garth!
  21. Ken, Are there going to be Todd Action Figures? Because I would like a Todd "7 minutes of Heaven" Variant Figure.
