    The hobby makes it nearly impossible with a multitude of variants, exclusives, misprints, print specialties and recalls, yet we can limit our focus and chose titles, runs or series and complete those. Then claim we are completists. I have recently completed both my Pre-Unity / Unity Valiant and my Rising Stars sets.

    I have a published letter in Alpha Flight 113, and have read the Mark Waid, Kurt Busiek, and Jim Shooter also had letters published.

    Got my copy of Harby 1 last year (sold my OO copy many years ago after buying 2 copies of the newsstand) it was the last issue I needed to complete my Pre-Unity and Unity Valiant collection. Proudly displayed in my signature line

    Is the newsstand version more popular, more valuable more in demand that the direct edition ? Is it scarcer? If so by how much? Should I be on the look out for 1?

    Does anyone know who Mike Deodato's artist rep is? I have looked at almost every linked web site and can only find a couple pages here and there. Specifically looking for pages from new avengers (V2) issues 25-27 AvX crossover. Any help would be appreciated

    Picked up ASM #4 at a variety/antique store for $5 in central NY. Got the Harby #1 from my wife and daughter for Father's Day. (Nearly completes my Pre-Unity and Unity collection, just need Magnus #0 without cards retail edition).

    I have more art than frames, so I am able to rotate them out often enough to prevent bonding and fading. My wife made the bat signal, she crafty!

    Got a few things up in my comic room, My desk still needs a little clean up The display cabinet and shelves Still gotta paint, put a few things up and put up my block "O" but it's a good start.

    I am an Iron Fist fan and enjoyed the New Avengers issues 25-27 AVX tie in where the Avengers go to K'un -Lun, drawn by Mike Deodato. I have not been able to find any pages from any of these issues. I am wondering if anyone knows if these pages were penciled and inked, digital, inks over blue line or otherwise available. Thanks

    Got this in the mail today from Brussles via eBay. Very happy to have a Tick OA in my collection. Page is from a Fox funhouse illustrated book. Features the Tick and Arthur on page 8 and new character "the Drip" on page 7. 2 pages on one art board. Written by Dwayne McDuffie, artist currently unknown.

    Picked up the Fantastic Four Fantasticar (1995) and the Thing. The sound effects box works and most of the small parts are with it. All the stickers are intact. Needs a little cleaning. Pretty cool I think. Will add it to my comic room, needed a FF presence.

    Thanks, I have both, the OA display portfolio and framed art (not up yet). The portfolio lets me easily change what's out in view. I tend to change the page every time I go into my room. On single page art, I display the published page opposite the original.

    Just a start, got my display shelf up with some toys and original art portfolio View as you walk in my comic room. Closer look at my display, bottom shelf will hold some hardcover books soon. Still lots to do. Did pick paint colors though (grey with a scarlet focus wall, and white trim) should paint in a few weeks

    I have recently moved and this will be my new comic room. It is my blank canvas as they say. I have plenty to display, and will update as I get things set up, like a work in progress.

    Thanks , my wife picked that up for me a few years ago, I haven't see another one since. All the lettering and graphics light up when I turn it on. It really is cool.
