    OPTION 3

    SDCC 2014 Exclusive Grab

For this option you will get to choose an item out of my exclusives from SDCC. Last year I had stuff from Hasbro, Lego, Marvel, Funko... I can try to accommodate a specific request, but no guarantees. This item will obviously ship after comic con.

Because of the weight and size of most of these options, US shipping only on these, except for option 2. I will pay first $20 on that for International.

  2. So not to slow the thread, but I've gotten grumbles in PIF for posting stuff at 2 am. So I'll have my offer up in the morning. (thumbs u

This isn't PIF, this is the Giving Tree, now GIVE!!! :sumo:

    lol:grin:

Haha. Last time I did that there was a thing over that statue...

I'll make sure it's up to par and worth the wait

  3. Ok, so here we go. Sorry about the wait, but it is the celebration of our great nation! Thank you to all of the current soldiers who maintain our freedom and to the Founding Fathers who won against great odds. To this day it amazes me that so many brilliant men were in politics at one time. Makes me wonder what happened to society as a whole when we can not find half the brain power of Jefferson and Franklin out of the entire Congress combined today. Okay, so on to the offers!

First, choose one slab out of category A. Then choose an option out of Category B. You will also get at LEAST 5 if not more trades in your box as well as other stuff but I will type you to see what genre or company you want them to be from. Past people seem to be happy with the stuff I throw in. I mean after all, how do you think Barth got his Kraven doll? Sorry, but this is going to be very very heavy and multiple Priority boxes so will have to be US only :(

    CATEGORY A - CHOOSE A SLAB!

Entertainment Weekly #1222 CGC 9.2 signed by Danai Gurira "Michonne"

    CATEGORY B - CHOOSE Option 1, 2, or 3

Option - 1 Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus. This is huge and never been opened. It pains me to let it go since I have not read it yet but it is yours if you want it. :)

Option -2 Marvel Comics Omnibus. This is almost 900 color pages of old school goodness.

Option-3 All goes together. Young Avengers Hardcover Vol 1, Runaways Hardcover Vol-1 and Runaways Hardcover Vol-2. All 3 are great reads if you have never had a chance to pick them up before. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed them.

:takeit: Spider-Man slab and Spider-man omnibus
  4. I get what you guys are saying. I'm sure he is having personal issues, which sucks. But he completed every other transaction in between 'send out free stuff' and 'personal issues'. (shrug)

He needs to post and explain...I just PMed him again, I hope he will...but sometimes there are emotional things that people have trouble discussing in an open forum.

I don't think he's had transaction problems, and I saw an attempt to be very generous, but sometimes stuff happens.

As far as a non transactional list goes, I'd welcome that...can we also make people stand in the corner if they "curse"?

. I'm never getting out of the corner.

  5. I'll never understand some of this bleeding heart mentality on the boards. I get that some of you want to find the best in people, which is a wonderful trait. But that's wholly different from just ignoring facts. Jop messed up and is now.

In the two months since the holiday raffle, he started I think 7 sales threads, sold over $1k, and spent for himself over $300 (which would've been more than enough to cover shipping of all the raffle items he offered). He's also been participating in discussions all over the boards, with no hint or mention of distress from what I could see.

So the excuse here of 'personal issues' and the one he gave Lance of 'broke ' just don't fly. I get people have lives outside of the boards, that unfortunately can get bad. But to use the personal issue excuse to cherry pick how it affects your actions on the boards is extremely disingenuous.

  6. If Columbia Comics would have made this comment, it would have been a strike and everyone would be calling it Thread poop and asking for his head

and here it is in case it gets poofed

You tend to grade pretty harshly in the VG to FN range, most of your VG look like (at least) VG+/VGF and some of your FN look like FVF. Of course you have to have the books in hand, but they look great. (thumbs u

    Shhh. Don't tell everyone!

I’m just trying to be fair, as more accurate grading is always better for both parties.

To balance that, I must admit that a few books in the FVF/VF- range appear very slightly overgraded, but it is hard to tell from scans only.

Andy’s grading is spot on (safely a bit undergraded, like I tend to do), but everyone has its "weak spot" where he undergrades. Mine tends to be in the G+ to VG- range – they are all G/G+ to me… lol

You are wrong. It won't get poofed. They clearly know one another and are merely conversing about grading books. This is what used to happen all the time before the selling threads became a freak show of kvetching, hand-wringing and teeth clenching. If you look for a ghost behind every tree, you'll find one.

:shy: closest thing I could find to a ghost behind a tree

to be fair, if I knew neither I would be hesitant to buy any books in this thread as someone already pointed out he's over grading.

to be fair #2 - i personally rely on my own grading despite what most folks put on along with their scans and these comments would not affect me nor would the others that have been posted

Regardless of threadcrapping, everybody is pointing to this about overgrading. Wasn't it about undergrading, and meant in a positive?

That's how I read it. (shrug)
