Really? I had no idea you had a #2 for sale...you've been much too quiet about it... I appreciate the heads-up, and it's a great book, but I'll have to pass...I'd just rather not spend $300+ on an SA book, unless it's one I'm dying to have. Leaving aside #1 and #2, I'm basically down to needing these "minor key" books (1st Mysterio, 1st Scorpion, 1st Rhino) which in my opinion are more than a bit overpriced in the guide. (Why is #13 valued at 25% more than #11 and #12, the 2nd & 3rd Doc Ock stories? Are there Mysterio completists out there?) I think ebay prices are quite a bit softer than guide on these, so with patience I hope to get lucky as I did with the #16. I didn't say I was quiet about it....and I take time payments....think about it like buying a less expensive book monthly. I also have the 41

Sweet book..... I just deslabbed this one....(paging Andy...October) The pages that are out of the cover are 1/2 pages that are slightly misaligned within the book....generally nice pages and color. If the cover was attached when it was sent in.....it wasn't when I opened up the slab....but I bet if I called on graders notes....it would tell me that too. No worries...still really happy with the book at around G+ guide price for a certified unrestored copy.

That's a great cover....very american south seas/hawaiian vacation... You guys constantly amaze me with the classic 1937-1945 books you pull out of your ....................collections.

I'd settle for a 7.0 at this point. My current copy is a nicely presenting Good Mine is a VG-. yeah that's right....just a little better than mine..... you always have to have the comic...just a little better than mine.. what's up with that anyway.............. are you inferring that I have an inferior collection As usual....love seeing your books. I think we both need higher grade copies. That's true and you probabaly overgraded anyway
