All the versions of Wolverine Origins 10 are doing well today with that new poster image coming out. It would be cool to see both Daken and Laura in the next Wolverine film

Nice
Thank you sir!

Thanks BudGroovy! -

Here are some pics of my comic room. Someday I would like to consolidate and get more of my stuff in here. [/img]

I think they have a booth at Frank and Sons if you have trouble getting a hold of them.

That is one sweet book! A pleasure to come across you on the boards. I really admire your Punisher collection
The foil is actually the common one. I only picked it up because I needed it for my set even though everyone loves foils again The hard one to find is the non foil colored copy. I have one of those that I found earlier this year but don't see them that often. They sell for a decent amount. Probably the only variant from this series I think.Ive never seen the Punisher 100 foil, but I am sure it isn't super hard to find. Just one of those books I have never run across. The Michael Golden #100 variant:
Also issue #57 has a double cover (wanted brown cover ) and the single photo cover as a variant. I Wish CGC would recognize them as variants in grading.

My books just checked in. We'll see how it goes. I'm hoping for a month turnaroundSubmit now in 2016 and you'll get 'em back a little bit after the Super Bowl in 2017, I think via their cheapest standard grading service.Last year I sent some moderns (via slow track) in mid November and they were subsequently sent to CGC in early January. Not sure if the same will apply this year during the late fall / early winter season. CGC sent them back by early March.
2 books, Modern fast track Rec'd 9/27
3 books, Economy fast track Rec'd 9/27

It was a Wolverine 10 (1988) so I just sold it instead of cracking it out again. But thank you for the advise. I'm going to have to try some of those techniques out someday.

Already in verified today. Normally takes a few days or a week to get it to verified. I wonder if CGC is preparing for the influx of books from NYCC in a couple of weeks?

Unless you need it for your run I would have passed and did the other day for $1.25. They only go for like $5. Here is what I picked up. There was a whole run of a lot of Punisher books. I only picked up 100 foil cover because I needed it. 102 is the most valuable from that series. That I always try to find. I pass on 1, 4, 10 if I don't find them in good enough condition.Should I have passed on Punisher #104 for $3? -
They're great books! I remember they were all the rage in the 90s and I could never find them. Really stoked. I'm probably going to send 55 and 57 to be graded along with a few others from this haul. I lucked out. A lot of these are in excellent condition.Today's estate sale findsI need to find me some Splatt Moon Knights.

I got a 9.4 on a book like that

Thanks for the feedback. Now I know what kind of timeframe I'm looking at.I submitted my books for pressing during SDCC via Fast Track and they are still at CCS and have not made it to CGC. They say it can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 months upon receipt. So, my books should be moving soon... fingers crossed.... -
I'm going to be sending some books in. Anyone know how the current turn around is for modern/economy fast track?

That's pretty cool of them to start a file for youIf it counts:My first comic store was a convenience store called the Glowing Embers. It was in the heart of a trailer park, and was about a mile away from the farm I lived on.
My favorite memory is of the lady who owned it, getting to know the 8 year old boy who rode his bike to buy comics every Wednesday. I had my paper route at the time, and spent most of the money I made delivering papers on comics.
She took an interest in helping me get the books I wanted and even kept all of the books aside for me to come buy them. My first comic file!
Moderns that are heating up on ebay!
