  1. Ive never seen the Punisher 100 foil, but I am sure it isn't super hard to find. Just one of those books I have never run across.

The foil is actually the common one. I only picked it up because I needed it for my set even though everyone loves foils again lol The hard one to find is the non foil colored copy. I have one of those that I found earlier this year but don't see them that often. They sell for a decent amount. Probably the only variant from this series I think.

    The Michael Golden #100 variant:

Also issue #57 has a double cover (wanted brown cover ) and the single photo cover as a variant. I Wish CGC would recognize them as variants in grading.

That is one sweet book! A pleasure to come across you on the boards. I really admire your Punisher collection (thumbs u
  2. Submit now in 2016 and you'll get 'em back a little bit after the Super Bowl in 2017, I think via their cheapest standard grading service.

Last year I sent some moderns (via slow track) in mid November and they were subsequently sent to CGC in early January. Not sure if the same will apply this year during the late fall / early winter season. CGC sent them back by early March.

My books just checked in. We'll see how it goes. I'm hoping for a month turnaround :wishluck:

    2 books, Modern fast track Rec'd 9/27

    3 books, Economy fast track Rec'd 9/27

Already in verified today. Normally takes a few days or a week to get it to verified. I wonder if CGC is preparing for the influx of books from NYCC in a couple of weeks?

I'm hoping they are catching up again now that all the machines are back from onsite grading.
  5. Should I have passed on Punisher #104 for $3?
Unless you need it for your run I would have passed and did the other day for $1.25. They only go for like $5. Here is what I picked up. There was a whole run of a lot of Punisher books. I only picked up 100 foil cover because I needed it. 102 is the most valuable from that series. That I always try to find. I pass on 1, 4, 10 if I don't find them in good enough condition. <a href=IMG_4633_zps5quwifx1.jpg' alt='IMG_4633_
  6. I submitted my books for pressing during SDCC via Fast Track and they are still at CCS and have not made it to CGC. They say it can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 months upon receipt. So, my books should be moving soon... fingers crossed....
Thanks for the feedback. Now I know what kind of timeframe I'm looking at.
  7. If it counts:

My first comic store was a convenience store called the Glowing Embers. It was in the heart of a trailer park, and was about a mile away from the farm I lived on.

My favorite memory is of the lady who owned it, getting to know the 8 year old boy who rode his bike to buy comics every Wednesday. I had my paper route at the time, and spent most of the money I made delivering papers on comics.

She took an interest in helping me get the books I wanted and even kept all of the books aside for me to come buy them. My first comic file!

That's pretty cool of them to start a file for you
