  2. I'm going to be sending some books in. Anyone know how the current turn around is for modern/economy fast track?
  3. Me too. Glad to see she is getting the credit she deserves
  4. Those Deadpool Back in Black Tyler Kirkham variants are selling fast now that the artwork is released. Pretty sick!
  5. That's pretty cool of them to start a file for you
  6. Growing up I had to ride my bike around town to different convenient stores to get the different books I was reading. The first LCS was a really small hole in the wall but was a game changer for me as an adolescent. I remember getting Carnage off the rack from there. I forget the exact name of the shop, but it quickly got too big for that small shop in the 90s boom. It became Dreamworld Comics in Ventura and later moved to the L.A. area. At one point my town had 5 comic shops during those years. Final Frontier was one of my favorites that was there until 99'. Recently another shop opened up there Sterling Silver Comics. The owner of which was the manager from the oldest shop in our county Ralphs Comics. That until recently sold it's million plus inventory of books.
  7. Read the other thread. I might go with 1982, but not 1980. Deathstroke is bronze age Meant to say "I" read the other thread. ..... You have a lot of good points I agree with. Especially about marvel

  9. hard to pin-point an event/book that began the Copper-age, but NTT 1 is widely regarded as a defining moment that helped usher in the era. But yes, I believe DC's entry into the CA pre-dates Marvel's entry yup - lots of opinions on the beginning of the Copper age I'm going with 1984+ for both Marvel and DC imho Stop drinking the remixed Kool-Aid. 1984 is way too late. Still got the other thread to read. But if we are calling a thread "Copper's on Ebay" then it should go with Ebay's guidelines right? Not to mention OPG/Wiki
  10. With marvel Secret Wars is considered to have ushered in the copper age in 1984. But I've also heard it was the Wolverine mini series. Hard to imagine a 4 year difference between the two companies. Ebay does state 1984+ though for copper. And this thread is titled Selling well on eBay Transition points leading to what we know today as the Copper Age It was much more than just a single comic book or series leading to the Copper Age. Thanks for the link. Some good reading.

  13. Isn't Omega 3 (1983) and NTT (1980) Bronze age still? Or did DC's copper age start earlier than marvel?

  17. Great copy brother! I agree. Perfect copy! Check out mine when you get a chance. They look almost identical. Hey STORMSHADOW_80! Yes...you also have a killer copy!! Where did you purchase yours from? Was it originally a CGC 9.8 or did you have it pressed from a CGC 9.6 to a 9.8? Thanks man! I bought my copy off of ebay a couple years ago as a 9.6. I searched for awhile for the best copy I could find in that grade. I always thought it looked like a 9.8. I thought about getting it pressed for a while but really couldn't find any defects that needed to be pressed. Finally I mustered up the courage and just resubmitted it without pressing. I was ecstatic when I found out it bumped up to a 9.8!
  18. This is most probably Super Power Beat Down. But it is really cool that Dinesh is involved. This will be awesome!
  19. Anyone talking about Deathstroke yet with the Ben Affleck post? 9.8 Copies have sold today for a good amount.

  21. Black panther seems to be warming up. There's a market for a lot of stuff. It just might have to sit awhile to find the right collector for it.
