  1. I'm going to go with a 9.4. Like you said I can't see the color breaks on the front so I'm assuming they are not there. I am curious to see the side of the spine in case the color breaks from the back extend over.
  2. Thanks man! It's my second time finding one in the wild. My other copy got a 9.2 a couple years ago. ...yeah that's usually how I rationalize the sig costs. It might be the last time I get a Stan and Rob sig I think
  3. Just got this back after being signed by Rob and Stan. I found this in the wild last year
  4. I think the tear itself makes it a 9.0 unfortunately. Really nice looking copy thogh
  5. Sweet book especially being it was your first book you bought! Doesn't get much better than that.
  6. Just had 8 Modern FT check in today from CCS. A little shy of 2 months.
  7. Probably won't go back to the old way. Still comic stores were in business when it wasn't just Diamond. Books for sale in more places = more people buying books. It would be nice to see books on spinner racks again. Can you imagine Wednesday warriors hitting up different convenient stores to get the latest spec books?
  8. I think if the price point of comics were lower it would help get new readers. You would think since Marvel and DC are owned by huge companies profit margin wouldn't be such a big factor. And why can't we have comics distributed everywhere like in the good old days?
  9. We'll probably have a lot of books hitting the market, but if the demand is there I don't see value being affected that much. It can't be that many of the same book being sold at the same time.
  10. Technology will fail you. I repeat. Technology will fail you. I've been in complete dead zones several times. Sometimes just going to the back of a store you will have no service. Not to mention running low on a battery. Generally I make lists of runs I'm after. I go through my books to remember the covers in case I don't have my list on me. I try to memorize every key book
  11. This thread has been painful to read. Honestly people are recommending throwing comics away??? There's plenty of thrift stores that are non profit for good causes that books can be donated to at least. Also I know I shop in the LA area that specializes with this type of bulk. Speros Heroes in Canoga Park. Maybe give them a call if it doesn't workout with Chuck
  12. yeah I'm finding myself looking up more of his work. Next the online purchases start happening ha
  13. Thanks guys! I'm really digging these old mags. 23 is great! Frazetta is the best
