Which tier? I suppose it's potentially a faulty assumption on my part but I figured it wouldn't matter which tier it is. Just wondered what event stops the clock on the turnaround time, point it's encapsulated, packed in a box ready for shipment, when the postal or fedex person picks up the box, etc.? I might be overthinking it, but I was thinking if we knew what tier you were inquiring about someone with books in there currently could confirm if the stated time is accurate right now. Normally the turnaround time starts when they are rec'd and ends when they are marked shipped from CGC. This thread has been a little inactive lately, but CGC has been updating their estimates pretty frequently. I only see a standard submissions with a 15 day turnaround. Which tier is for the 14 days?

My books just checked in. We'll see how it goes. I'm hoping for a month turnaround 2 books, Modern fast track Rec'd 9/27 3 books, Economy fast track Rec'd 9/27 My 2 Moderns transferred to CGC today

Blogs with the proclamation that DC/Marvel has big plans for blank character is nothing new. But yeah man, any day now Duke Thomas and Harper Row are gonna be a big deal. A BIG deal. I had the Batman 21 sketch in 9.8. Sold it last year. No regrets. People have been talking about Duke being a big deal for a while. I don't think the interest is there imo. We are Robins didn't take off like they wanted.

I once found a GSX1 that was missing the front cover. I ended up trading it but did some researching they were selling for about 50 as is and some people had a reprint cover that they would supply loose with a book for 100. I imagine ASM129 would be about the same. Maybe a little more.

You need to be careful. Many people are leery of signed copies and there's no guarantee it will sell at the price you want. As it is, ASM #129 isn't the best long-term Bronze investment as prices are dropping. First and foremost it is IH #181 and then GS-X #1. Prices hold on these two gems, so perhaps sell your copy and upgrade to one of these? Do not SS it. A lot of people like me will not buy SS books, shrinking the buying pool. There is no shortage of SS books out there, so your book would not be any more special than it is. The Punisher has long-lasting appeal, especially if the upcoming series can draw even more interest in the character. Keep it. IF it's a 9.8 W... I don't know. I thought of getting my 9.8 copy signed but in the end decided 1 it wasn't worth the risk. 2 Even though I have a lot of SS books, I kind of like having my bigger books in the pure form. Also I've noticed on this book while sometimes on on ASM129 sigs will go for more. Other times they go for less in the same grade if you follow the sales for a while

Spider-Man 1 Platinum makes me think about this. 1280 copies graded out of 10k. Still it seems to be climbing over the years a little bit. Probably better to sell low grades as raw really.

Thank you! We like to pick up different frozen stuff from time to time. I got the statue from my LCS the other year. I'll see if it has any info on the bottom or if I have the box still. They might've ordered it from diamond I'll keep a look out for the 2nd print. Thanks for the tip

That's an awesome book! I wish I would have started to get the ongoing. I was a little disappointed with the layout for Disney Princesses. Here is my daughter's copy of the #nn book I subbed. I might send in my other copy soon.

What I can tell you is that I saw no CGC reps during either signing. I was going to hit the CGC table before the Sunday signing, but the subways were a mess and I got to the con about an hour late and didn't want to risk not getting the book. I know someone that has some coming back from CGC SS. Send me a PM and I'll give you the contact info. I'm probably going to get one too.
