Not Del'Otto, but best X-23 cover IMHO

I love it. Picked up two nice copies--one for sig series one day. Same, but I only got 1. Also got my Vampirella Crown of Worms #1 Campbell variant. They're both going for SS and grading. Hopefully they both hit 9.8, now I have the complete variant set for the Vamps!!!

Like many others, the mail order speculators/flippers are still waiting for theirs to arrive to list, the market will see more, and will likely even out a lot lower. Sell now if you want to make loot. Oh I don't spec and flip. I just buy covers I like. I don't have time for all that. Besides, up here in the great white north, our moose are mighty but our dollar blows. I just bought a silk #3 1:25 9.8 for $129us. Was around $175can. Im just here to live vicariously through others.

Anyone think the La Mole Campbell covers will reduce the demand and price of these books? They're identical reprint covers except for the "MEXICO" under the issue number.

Are you looking for resale? Are you reading the books? Are you just looking to speculate? You need to be a little more clear on what your goals are. It would help us advise you better. Whether trying to build a nice collection or getting books before they get too high for you to afford, I would learn/look up what the key Hulk books are. That way you can buy first appearances you like, the best looking covers, etc. I honestly don't know much about Hulk books except #181, which is the first appearance of Wolverine. Actually, IH #180 is the first appearance. Ya, I said it!

The same way I conduct business when I sell on these boards. I once listed a bunch of books quite a bit lower than GPA, and although the buyer asked for clarification because it was priced so low, I checked and said ya, I listed way too low. Oh well, happens, and sold them at the listed price. If I owned a shop, I would make it a priority to be aware of current market prices.

It's a move because: having the employee say "don't worry about the prices, they are probably less than that" then looking the comics up on Ebay, IN FRONT of the customer, then pricing the comics based on Ebay's prices. If he's going to look up and change prices, at least do i t before the customer sees the books and the CURRENT STICKER PRICE!!! I would have walked out too. It's the principal of it all. Otherwise, why price books at all? Why not just Google prices at the checkout. Because it's shady business that's why.

That was one of the first comics I ever bought! That was awesome when I was 14. I was chasing the red cover but never got it.

Ok, Popeye is very dis-proportioned. Also, I'm fairly sure his spinach addiction is just a cover up for his rampant roid abuse. I disapprove. Oh, and Olive, I don't even know where to begin....

Also, are the LA Mole variants actually in Spanish, or English? Cuz the cover is cool, but I'm not sure what I would do with a Spanish book... Not that I read comics anymore, just slab 'em !
