  1. A well placed signature on a gorgeous cover in the right color ink will only make it that much nicer. Personal preference of course. Some books are too cluttered to put a signature on. But I was getting two regardless, so no worries!
  2. So where can I get a 9.8 SS copy of the middle book?
  3. I thought you were ? You have his 3 big books, so I would say yes. Jerome Ya, no kidding.
  4. Thats subjective, and I can't believe that ASM #688 is "cooler" than 50% of his other stuff. Cooler, much tougher to find in general, and a very well done departure from his usual "big titty" stuff. (And also in a long running, title). -J. Woah... did you just knock big titties? I'm not sure we can be friends anymore... I knock big titties all the time. -J. Well played bro.

  7. Maybe this is a dumb question, but what makes one JSC cover worth $800 when another is just $4 on ebay? it's obviously not the artist otherwise all of his art (which is a LOT) would be worth either $4 or $800. For example, I love the JSC cover art for Bubble Gun #1, but it's relatively cheap compared to Superior Spider-Man #20. Maybe i'm just missing something, or maybe it's just preference. Thoughts?
  8. Do you guys think these reprints (German/Mexican etc.) Will diminish the value of the JSC covers? I've seen quite a few now including wolverine #1. I have been tempted to get one despite the language in print.
  9. It was this kind of talk that pushed the Wolverine #1 out of my reach. STAHP!!!!!!! ! I forgot option B. Give up all hope. I'll never have a wolverine #1.
  10. I am aware. I just figured a thread dedicated to JSC would have a better chance of yielding a result. i'll post there in a bit. Thanks though! As would every other three dedicated to a book. But there's a reason we don't look for books in these threads and you've been here long enough to know this. I figured no harm, no foul. Apparently I was wrong. My bad.

  12. Hey, I figure this is the best thread for this. I'm looking for a NM+ or CGC 9.6/9.8 Spider-Gwen #2 ECCC exclusive. Pm with prices. Thanks!
  13. I don't like change, that's why my furniture doesn't get moved. If past history is anything, it won't be long before Marvel changes it back. At least make Steve Rogers Captain America again Matter of time. Rogers will be Cap for the next bajillion years. I do wish they would transition the characters to reflect some idea of time. Peter Parker can't be the same age for another century. It's ridiculous.
  14. I agree. Unlike spider-Gwen who has like, a billion variants.
  15. CM is not his best work IMHO. Same for the Dodson variant. I was able to get a 9.8 Silk #3 1:25 through a friend, but I don't think it's JSCs' best work either. Man I'm picky.
  16. So, are these Silk #3 variants going to plateau and then drop any time soon? I am on the fence about buying one while prices are... well... lower than they might be...
  17. Whats the deal with the Silk ## JSC 1:25 variant? it's selling for $100+ on ebay. is it a small print run or something?
  18. Again the big difference is in MOS 17, there's really no arguing that those were not Doomsday fists. However, in Web 18, those hands are just too ordinary looking and there's no other supporting evidence that they belong to Eddie Brock / Venom. I know what you mean that it would make sense that they should belong to Venom, but what's stopping a writer from making a new villain tomorrow that knows Spider-Man's secret identity and can evade his spider sense? If that writer decides to reference back to Web 18 stating that this character has always been stalking or trying to kill him, that will throw a wrench to all the folks that bought the book thinking it was Venom. I'm not saying its not Eddie's Brocks hands nor can anyone officially say it belongs to him. It's just too vague to be considered a key. Not even Marvel? Well....technically, they forgot his appearance in #298, but hey... And his Marital Status says single. Am I mistaken in remembering he had a wife? Ex. Does that mean she gets half of the symbiot?
  19. Are those convention editions? I want that second cover.
  20. I also have Lady Death Echoes #1 Instant Edition 9.8 Blue Label. It's not on the census yet, they're just coming back from CGC now. There is currently only 1 9.8 SS on the census, so mine will be the only 9.8 Blue. so, only 2 on the census! yay!
  21. Well, it's not one of a kind, but there are only 9 of these on the census. Strangely all 9.8 SS. Weird!
