Got my Harleys from ComicKings today! Absoloutly amazing! Packaging was really well done. Too!!! These babies went straight into 4mil mylars and will be headed to CGC shortly. The art is much better in person as well. Can't thank ComicKings enough!

Uf! Those eBay pre-orders for NM copies are going to be hard to fill. We ordered plenty for back-up! Didn't mean you specifically (in case people think I'm giving you a hard time); just saw a lot of pre-orders for this cover (because I like it a lot). But glad you have back-ups for your customers! :thumbsup: I bought a set of Harleys from ComicKings. Haven't received them yet, but excellent customer service and communication. I think the tough sell will be go those who don't understand the situation. These books have crappy spines across the board. Yes, I would love 9.8 copies, but given the circumstances I understand if that's not the case. Its a pity. Such a nice cover.

I more meant the value would be reflected by the large print run of each cover. But anyway, I'm getting a set graded.

So, I know these covers are very common, but due to the condition issues, how many of you guys are getting graded sets? I know they probably wont be worth anything, but I really like the art and the progression from pencil to color. It's a neat display piece in a three book frame.

where are you getting your numbers from? several thousand seems like a lot since I can get an OA sketch done and a con for about several thousand less.... That stupid Vader Down variant is getting $3000 plus, and you are going to tell me that somebody out there will not pay a stupid amount of money for a comic that will have a pedigree like this one? I really think the winner could get several thousand dollars. I have no actual numbers, just a bet. I'm not saying it wont. i'm just skeptical. Anything is possible. But, paying that much for a book that can be replicated on any blank cover for thousands less seems silly. Since when are people that spend 3000 on ugly variants logical? SW fans are a crazy, illogical bunch $3000+ is a lot of money to me, but maybe for some people it is just pocket change? Everything is relative. Now, if the people paying $3000+ for these Star Wars variants are using credit or are overextending themselves to buy this variant and would be better off using that money for the essentials of life, then yes, that would be crazy. You do that for a nice old comic, not a new variant. I think this polybag variant idea is cool for this one book. I'm really hoping this isn't going to start a trend from the big two. If a sketch cover would have come out in the 70s, that would have been a huge deal and it would be a book to remember. Unfortunately, these things are becoming all to common. I agree. SW fans are definitely passionate. And no, logic has nothing to do with it. Just an opinion. I also agree with the black bag idea. Neat, but let's hope it's a rare occurrence.

From what I've heard, this book will be tough in 9.8. I like the idea though. It's fun.

Nothing fancy like you folks, but HQ #1 Hughes variant 9.8 ss x 3 sold when it started to get hot.... immediate regret... Got it off the shelf for $10. Bought a 9.6 blue label afterward. going to attempt to recreate the 9.8 with a press. Have another one at CGC right now, but i'd be surprised if it got 9.4. Also Ultimate X-Men #1 Sketch variant signed by Andy K. (or Adam... I forget which) Few others, but those two are my biggest regrets

Nobody cares about HQ3001, let alone JL3001. Bombshells #4 has 1940's Harley Quinn in a better series. No variants either. I like this Harley. I've got a little collection of just the Bombshell Harley.

Ok, so let me get this straight. for me to get harleys little black book campbell variant, i need to pick through black bagged books to hopefully get the ones i want (which is a complete set of three) if i'm understanding this correctly? How am i supposed to get 9.8's man!?

something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. and some people will pay ridiculous amounts of money.

I bought an EoSV #2 land variant from a Mexican seller who told me it was the English version in NM+ condition. received it. 1. Spanish. 2. Book has many many spine ticks and color breaking creases 3. contacted seller to refund but return shipping was going to cost me $60. said screw it. he refunded 80% of what i paid. Then I got an email stating that he "accidentally" sent the wrong one and that he has a NM+ copy with him..... right.... Now i'm stuck with this book I don't want. Never buying from anywhere outside of Canada/US again. Good luck! I've got my fingers crossed. The lot included 1-5 of the land variants and a 3rd and 4th print of #2. Was there a picture of the English version, or was it a stock photo? I don't want to completely write off Mexico altogether as a country of bad sellers and poor graders. I'm sure that's far from the case. However, I always weigh risk in buying. that includes buying from different countries, as well as US/Canadian sellers with ratings below 99.6%. Also read feedback. But seriously, I hope your books are as stated!

Does anyone have the "Braniac Attacks" set with supergirl? I'm thinking of getting that next. Any reviews on if it's worth it? Amazon.com

So still in-stock at 2 of 5 And considering demand for only one of those books might be considered 'luke warm' (Tokyo Ghosts), it's probably a matter of 2 of those stores might not have even ordered the other two. Reminds me of the old joke: The other day I stopped at the hardware store to buy a broom. Sign in the window says, "Brooms $5". I go in to get one and the clerk says, "Sorry, we're all out." I head down the street to another hardware store. Brooms are $20! I say to the clerk, "They're only $5 down the street." Clerk says, "Go buy one down the street then." I say, "They're all out."
