  1. This is a great thread with really premium material. Hope all of this finds a good home! Paul is really great to purchase from, highly recommended.
  2. My pal, Steve, and I met him at Windy City a couple years ago. He joked around with us and shared stories for almost an hour and finished with a special parting word for Steve. I've met many creators over the years, none were as vivacious, friendly, conversationally enjoyable, and entertaining as Jim Steranko. Also, he's always the best dressed man in the room. 10/10.
  3. You have to have a minimum of 50 posts before you have access to that forum. The boards had a rash of fraudulent posters a little while back and this rule was put in place to protect board members. It's not specific to you, just anyone with less than 50 posts on these message boards.
  4. This belongs in the Want to buy forum as others have mentioned but you can't see it yet due to the fact that you need a minimum number of 50 posts to place want ads. Spend a little time here on the boards in various, threads, share some books, and you'll get there in no time.
  5. And that's all for this thread. Feel free to pm with any questions or reasonable offers. Thanks to all for looking!
  6. And here's the gem of this thread, Eerie Tales 1, VG 4.0. Tough book in any grade, doesn't show up that often and rarely does it show up in better condition than VG. This copy is solid and complete with usual wear for the grade. Lots of stories by former EC artists. This magazine, although only a one off by Joe Simon in 1959, was definitely the prototype that would later lead to the Warren magazines and other comic magazines that would follow a decade later. $300 Sold to BriD.
  7. Avengers 163, Higher mid-grade copy. Free to the second person to purchase a book from this thread! Goes to BriD.
  8. Incredible Hulk 161, VF/NM 9.0. Very tight and glossy copy with this early appearance of the blue, furry Beast. $50
  9. Champions 17, NM+ 9.4-9.6. Just a near perfect copy with fresh gloss and colors. Battle with the Sentinels. $30 (Scans forthcoming)
  10. Iron Fist 6, VF/NM 9.0. Solid glossy copy with only minor wear. Byrne art throughout. $20
  11. X-men 170, solid copy. Free to the first person to purchase a book in this thread! Goes to Hamlet
  12. X-men 137, NM 9.2-9.4. Pretty much brand new looking copy with nice centering. The classic Death of Phoenix issue. Not ashamed to admit that this was the first comic that I cried after reading as a kid. Jean Grey was one of my favorite characters from my earliest days of reading comics. $100 Sold to echu @ 30% off
  13. X-men 135, VF/NM 9.0. This book was a show stopper when I was a kid and it came out. The cover by Byrne was an instant classic and the Dark Phoenix saga was one of the best story arcs I have ever read. This copy is very fresh and glossy in hand with a few minor issues holding it back from grading higher. $120 Sold to atomized @ 30% off
  14. X-men 133, VF 8.0. First Wolverine solo story with an awesome John Byrne cover. Glossy with minor wear. $95 Sold to Echu @ 20% Off
  15. X-men 113, VF+ 8.5. Clean and glossy copy with fresh eye appeal. Conclusion to the Magneto story arc by Byrne and Claremont. First John Byrne cover on the run. $65 Sold to Hamlet
  16. X-men 100, Former CGC 9.2 White Pages (cracked out). Just a fresh copy with full gloss and color. First part of the Phoenix introduction. Comes with CGC label. $320 Sold to Echu @ 20% Off
  17. Fantastic Four 108, VF- 7.5. Solid and glossy with some mild tanning that keeps it from grading higher. $30
  18. Fantastic Four 92, NM- 9.2. Exceptionally clean copy with a full gloss and color on the cover. Another one of my favorite Kirby story arcs with the introduction of Torgo (FF 91). $90 Sold to Loboagain @ 30% off
  19. Fantastic Four 85, VF- 7.5. Another glossy copy with great colors and attractive eye appeal. Always liked this Dr. Doom story arc by Kirby. $40 Sold to Hamlet

  22. Batman 238, 100 Page Giant, FN/VF 7.0. Nice presenting copy with great colors and gloss on this classic wraparound cover by Neal Adams. $70 Sold to changer per PM
