  1. This is probably one of the best deals of any book I've sold. Glad it's going to you, sir!
  2. All books remaining in the recap are now 60% off. I'm open to package deals on the latest listings as well.
  3. It's nice to see others also enjoying these books. They really have reinvigorated my collecting joy. I still love comics, but the excitement of finding cool new covers and classic artwork is pretty special. You (and the usual pb thread denizens) helped me a lot with that!
  4. That's it, my friends. I'd like to thank all that looked and/or purchased books here in Randall Dowling's H.U.G.s! If anyone has any questions or reasonable offers, feel free to PM.
  5. And going out with a roar, here's the last book of the thread: Vampirella (French) 1, 8.5-9.0. Just a stunning copy of this first issue for the regular French run. There's just a small amount of surface rubbing but otherwise, this copy looks like it's new. Nicest copy I've ever seen in person, after all these years. Of course, the iconic cover by Frank Frazetta is one for the ages. An 8.5 sold on eBay recently for $600. This copy is $400. Sold to thehumantorch @20% off
  6. Vampirella (French) 8, 9.0. An exceptional copy with just a few misc. dents but otherwise, looks like it's pretty much new. Gorgeous cover by Enric, previously used on Vampirella 17 in the United States. $90
  7. Savage Tales 5, 9.2-9.4. Looks and feels like the day it was printed. Has a very subtle rippling at the top edge but otherwise, a very high grade copy. Classic Boris crucifixion cover and a wonderfully illustrated tale by John Buscema inside! $110
  8. Falling In Love 121, VG. What's this doing in here? A comic book?? Yes, but it's not just any comic book. One of my all time favorite romance covers. Psychedelic cover meets mod squad. $35
  9. Man's Life, January 1960, F/VF. One of the nicer copies of this book that I've ever seen. Classic hanging cover, those women look like they want justice, and a necktie party is the only thing that will do. $150 Sold to thehumantorch @20% off
  10. Real Men, August 1964, VG/F. Clean, solid, copy of this classic cover composition. There's an article on marital arrangements that may not be good advice. Also, a discussion of nympho housewives. $30
  11. Real, June 1962, VG+. Typical wear associated with the grade on this beautiful cover by George Gross. Apparently, Machine Gun Kelly liked his women a certain way. $40
  12. Real Men, June 1968, FN-. Another pretty, bright copy but has a very light crease on the front and a few small tears on the back. Glossy and white, otherwise. Personally, I'm confused by the story about a squad of prostitutes, sounds impossible. $30
  13. Real Men, October 1962, VG/F. This copy is very fresh and glossy but has a spine split at the bottom of the spine. Otherwise, a pretty copy of a classic decapitated head trophy cover (reprinted later on other titles). $70
  14. Man's Daring, Vol. 1 No. 1, June 1959, VG/F. Structurally it's probably a Fine with just a small amount of staple rust but has the eye appeal of a VG/F so that's my grade on it. First issue in a long running title with some of the more bizarre covers. Gorgeous cover by the master Clarence Doore. $40
  15. All Man, May 1962, G/VG. Well the phrase “beat but complete” certainly fits this copy. But that doesn't change how cool the cover is! Free with the next purchase of a magazine!! Claimed by thehumantorch
  16. And that's all the paperbacks. I'll take a time out and get the magazines ready. Thanks to all for looking. Feel free to PM with any questions or reasonable offers.
  17. Ballantine 23793, Alan Dean Foster, Luana, 1974 (First Printing), FN- (unread). One of the better copies of this book that I've seen. Nice and glossy. Classic Frazetta cover. $20 Sold to N e r V
