  1. I'm pretty sure this is the first issue of this short lived title from December 1962. It's exceptionally scarce. I've never seen a copy before and philsp doesn't have an image of it.
  2. And that's it for tonight. As I said, I'll post in the thread tomorrow afternoon for the schedule of the last bunch of listings. Thanks to all for looking and, as always, feel free to PM with any questions or offers. Have a great night, everyone!!
  3. Famous Monsters 55, VF+ 8.0, Very cool cover that may be the first copy of Famous Monsters that I ever saw as a kid. I always liked the Land of the Giants so this was the cover for me! Great looking book that would grade higher except for an odd knick on the top of the back cover. Otherwise, a very pretty copy. $35 Sold via PM
  4. Famous Monsters 43, NM 9.2-9.4, I've owned several copies of this book over the years and this is probably one of, if not, the best. Tight clean structure on an early issue. If this reminds you of an Eerie cover, there's a reason why. $100
  5. Eerie 90, NM 9.4, Classic Corben cover that was so good, they used it again for a Creepy issue. Just a fresh looking copies with near perfect centering and like new color and gloss. $90 Withdrawn.
  6. Creepy 139, NM- 9.2, All Alex Toth issue, if you haven't looked at the stories in this book, you really need to find the time. Alex Toth is, in my opinion, the greatest narrative storyteller in comic books. A very pretty copy with great colors and gloss. $60
  7. Creepy 137, NM+ 9.4-9.6, All Al Williamson issue, looks like it was just printed with beautiful structure, color and gloss. $110
  8. Creepy 28, NM- 9.2, This book comes from a collection of Warrens that I call the “Nap Naval” collection due to the incredible freshness and clean copies throughout. Lovecraftian cover by Vic Prezio. $90 Sold to Jayman
  9. Creepy 26, NM 9.4, This is a truly spectacular copy of a very tough black cover. Cover inks look wet, and the black cover is very unforgiving. Classic Basil Gogos cover. $110 Sold to dover
  10. Creepy 16, VF 7.5-8.0, The classic cover by Frazetta for which the artwork was changed by Frank later (and not for the better). This is one of the best covers that Frazetta ever did, in my opinion. A very solid copy with some general wear and some non-color breaking bends on the back cover. Colors and gloss make for great eye appeal on this book. For the record, my scanner is cruel and punishing on this book for some reason. It looks much better in hand. $75 Sold to jimjum12
  11. Rampaging Hulk 3, NM- 9.2, A very solid copy of this early Hulk with only a few non-color breaking bends keeping it from grading higher. I love the back cover on this book. Was that really an issue, people faking like they could play musical instruments??!! Great cover by Earl Norem, one of my favorite artists of the period. $70
  12. This is going to be short and sweet tonight. I'm hoping to finish tomorrow night but some work obligations may keep me from doing so. I'll post tomorrow afternoon what to expect in any case. First up, Eerie 91, NM 9.0, Great looking book with excellent colors and gloss but it has an imperceptible indentation on the cover (yes, it's the sort of thing that would press out). A remarkable cover by Don Maitz. $40 Sold to JRBaxter
  13. Wish I could be there. One of these years, I'll make it. If anyone feels like posting pictures, I'm sure a bunch of us would love to see what kind of stuff is in the room.
  14. That's all for tonight, everyone! Thanks for looking. Feel free to PM with any questions or offers. I will be listing another batch tomorrow evening and the evening after that.
  15. Great question. This is the version with 1 Corben story. Correction! I just looked again and this copy does have both the "The Believer" and "The Child". Both stories
  16. One more book for tonight. And it's one of my favorites. Psycho 1, VF+ 8.5 (White Mountain Pedigree), A great looking book but it has an impression line on the cover that's not a crease but it's there in the light (and it's incredibly minor). Still a stunning copy with all the qualities one would expect from the White Mountain books. I purchased this from the dealer who bought the remainder of the collection including paperbacks and other assorted items. Exceptionally tough book in higher grades. $200 Sold to Gregd
  17. Eerie 10, NM+ 9.4-9.6, Blindingly white cover with perfect colors and gloss. This book looks like it just came off the presses. $90 Sold to dover
  18. Creepy 3, NM 9.4, Just a fantastic copy of this early issue with a classic Frazetta cover. Nice and clean. $160 Sold to dover
  19. Creepy 46, VF 8.0, Here's the bad boy of the run. Oddly difficult and the black cover doesn't help. Nice glossy copy with great colors. $110
