  1. Vampirella 12, NM- 9.2, A very pretty copy that is exceptionally fresh and glossy with only a few very minor issues on the back cover (thin dust shadow). Otherwise, a stunning book. Worth noting that this book is a big key in the run as the beginning of the Spanish artists that would define Vampirella for the next 100 issues. $175 Back Cover:
  2. Vampirella 13, 9.2, This is a stunning copy of an otherwise, very tough white cover. It's only real flaw of note is that a few of the interior pages have very small chips out of the corners, a production related artifact. This is likely the nicest 9.2 you'll ever see. If I received this book as a 9.4, I'd be pretty happy. So if it doesn't sell at this price, I'm fine keeping it. $175 Sold to jr70 Back Cover:
  3. Vampirella 14, VF+ Former CGC 8.5 OW/W (cracked out), A very solid copy but has a series of non-color breaking creases on the right side that account for the assigned grade. These were undetectable in the slab. $85 Back Cover:
  4. Vampirella 17, VF/NM 9.0, A nice glossy copy with excellent colors. Feels pretty fresh in hand. A VG+ copy sold a week ago for $53. This copy high grade copy is $125 Back Cover:
  5. Vampirella 22, VF+ 8.5, A very solid copy of this early issue. Some non-color breaking bends and a crease on the right edge of the back cover keep it from grading higher. Still a very presentable clean book. $70 Sold to piper Back Cover:
  6. Vampirella 24, VF/NM 9.0, The colors and gloss on this book are dripping wet. It just has some small non-color breaking dents on the spine and the faintest of smudges on the tough black back cover. Otherwise, an incredible copy. A CGC 9.2 just sold for $258 and what looked like a F+ copy sold for $56. This copy is $125 Sold to N e r V Back Cover:
  7. Vampirella 61, NM 9.2-9.4, Nice bright copy of one of the classic Vampirella covers in the run. Reds are clean and bright. Glossy and fresh. $60 Sold to Jayman Back Cover:
  8. It's a tough one. The previews are for Vampirella 34, Creepy 63, Eerie 57, and Spirit 2. But I checked the back covers to each of the previous issues and it wasn't one of those.
  9. Eerie 38, NM- 9.2, A very pretty copy of the classic Ken Kelly cover (so good they made a poster out of it). Great gloss and colors on a very clean front cover. The back cover has a thin dust shadow that holds it from higher grades. $85 Sold to Jayman Back Cover:
  10. Creepy 16, F/VF 7.0, A very solid copy with some general wear and some non-color breaking bends on the back cover. Colors and gloss make for great eye appeal on this book. Somebody is going to be very happy with this book. $75 Back Cover:

  14. After reading this back and forth today, I think it's really best to take mediation/arbitration to a private setting, possibly with a 3rd party if you can't work it out. There's always a performative aspect in public and I think that works counter to resolution. After you've reached settlement, one or both should come back here and simply state satisfaction with the outcome. No need to disclose terms publicly. But you have to clear any reputational damage that both parties may have incurred by this thread.
  15. Gotta love back covers of Warren mags! Who can name it first??
  16. All that I got from all this is that you don't love Frazetta enough.
  17. Gorgeous books, as always, Steve! That 36 and 37 pair is exceptional!
  18. Nice group of mags! Vampirella 23 is particularly tough in high grade as is 31.
  19. Like others, I enjoyed the second episode better than the first. It's promising so I'll keep watching a while longer. Oscar Isaac is turning out some interesting performances and Ethan Hawke (who I usually can't stand) is putting out a reasonably non-damaging performance.
  20. I'm reaching back to this post to ask a question. Is this the highest price paid for a comic magazine (not including Playboy, etc.)? Is the recent FOOM sale the next highest? It would be interesting to list the top 10 highest prices realized for comic magazines right now as a snapshot of the current climate. I think it could be useful to maintain a running list. Anyone feel like giving it a shot? (I would but I don't have access to some of the data, others will have better access to GPA, HA, CL, CC, etc.) Here's a few to start: Savage Tales 1, CGC 9.8, $37,200, 19 November 2021 (HA) FOOM 10, CGC 9.8, $33,600, 8 April 2022 (HA) Vampirella 1, CGC 9.6, $25,000, 30 November 2021 (CGC Boards) Vampirella 1, CGC 9.4, $12,500, 3 March 2022 (CL) Feel free to revise, add, correct with better information.
